Soulful 6ths Steve Cropper-Style | Guitar Lesson
In this lesson I explain how to use 6th to create great soul-y rhythm guitar parts. Here’s a link to the music/tab, and to a backing track for you to jam along to: http://www.anyonecanplayguitar.co.uk/cropper-6ths

Another brilliant lesson ???? thankssss
Easily one of the best on YT. Thanks for your posts.
Would you consider doing Hip Hug Her by Booker T and the Memphis Group?
This is great. So all we're doing is moving the pattern down then back and down? It literally stays the same, I just move it around to match the chord! I've been making this way, way too hard.
Great lesson
????
SO! – That was what all there mystery was about! Cheers Adrian Jules
You are a fantastic musician and teacher.
I went to Reverb, and I educated myself. Apparently this amp is a Rivera Super Champ. It’s rare as well super expensive. Originally I posted a comment saying that the flight case cost more than the amp, but I guess it was. This guy got right in my face, saying, I should go to Reverb and educate myself. So I did. Incredible experience being put down by such as you. I sure did learn my lesson about talking out of place. I sure will never do that again. When I don’t know something and speaking up. Gosh, I made myself look like quite the fool there didn’t I. in any case I would’ve watched your videos but you ragged on me and that super uncool. Running a channel is difficult. You get all kinds of people making wisecracks and you have to know how to put up with it. Clearly you don’t know how to do that. What it would be if you talk shit to everybody.
I’m not gonna subscribe to your channel. I’m not even gonna like this video.
But I am going to tell you this
You and I don’t stand a chance on any front
All the best
is that a Baja tele? also is it better for you if we watch your lessons from your web page or from YouTube proper?
I wouldn't say you look like you're a funky dude, if i saw you down the street, though that is a cool shirt! – but you sure do sound it bro – if it quacks like a duck! Thanks for these lessons , your a star! I'm a huge Cropper fan and I just love Cornell Dupree Reggie Young and Bobby Womack- simplicity and perfection! ????????here
Thank you
Thanks. "Simplicity is genius".
Thank you very much. I really enjoy this style
Thank you for this great lesson..I learned a lot..Subscribed. From North Carolina, USA
Fantastic
Wow…I just figured out what Graham Coxon does that has always confused me. He just alternates between full bar chords and leaving out the bass notes. Thanks for this! Even though it wasn't the point.
is this a full song he played on?.if so what song..thanks..really enjoy ur cropper and James Burton lessons
very nice thank you
thks mate! it seems easy, and it is…but we have to include it in a jam…..
have you the same with a minor chords….
so this is who came up with the parallel 6ths lick!
Hi I live in México and know speak english but not at 100% and will help a lot if you active the subtitles on all your videos to understand better the lessons. Thank you very much.!!!????
Are you from America or england
Great playing good job I love telecasters there so much fun to play
Thanks Adrian!
Very nice. Very helpful. Thank you.
Nice video for learning or practicing triads!! Thanks
Brilliant as usual Adrian including a side lesson here in how the obvious time spent on your technique elevates guitar 'playing' to a craft.
Awesome lesson and definitely a great way study and develop the 6ths. That said, I really love how you always show the relationship between chords, scales and embellishments in your lessons. It really helps to better understand it all, which more importantly teaches me how I can actually apply it elsewhere when needed. That's what makes you such a great instructor, so much respect for that!
thanks for the great lesson
Excellent, thanks Adrian. You are an outstanding player and teacher, helping me to take my playing from intermediate toward advanced.
