A demo of the Roland SP-404MKII Amp Sim with a variety of guitars.

You use L/Mono to connect SP to a guitar amp?
In this case do you use a speaker cable or instrument cable?

I’ve noticed the volume for the guitar is so low compared to my drum samples Especially when going for a clean sound. Any advice on this? Would a preamp pedal between the guitar and the 404 help?

why not try to add some pedal effect into SP404, like ts808, mt2 to see what you can get

Just wanted to say i love your vids fam. I just got an mkii after just frustration with the older version. They fixed a lot and all your vids highlight what they got right. Imma use ur advice in a prior comment and struggle thru learning the sequencer, and duplicating pads. Its a different thing to wrap my mind around. But for what this thing offers sound wise, its worth the struggle. ????????

I'm not an electric guitarist, I'm a bassist. But goddamn jamming bass through the amp sim on a sampled beat though?????

You could resample a guitar sample and the output signal into the Amp sim that is a good use for this also if it works

Sounds surprisingly good as if I needed another reason to buy… I could sell my Apogee Jam and almost justify the expense.
