  • I have the Spark 40, and I use it primarily for bass. When it was first released it was introduced as equally adept at bass as guitar. That's somewhat of an exaggeration.

I play 5 string basses, and for the B-string it's straight up horrible if the volume is set for a band setting. For solo playing it's alright, because the volume can be set adequately.

With all that said, I honestly have my considerations with this product – especially if you're pushing a product that's supposed to do guitar, bass, vocals and keyboards… Where's the caveat… Hand to heart it's usually with the bass it's going to struggle. Definitely need some objective reviews, and however honest this seems, I would approach it wit some consideration and not blindly trust a review from a bass player on their own channel.

  • Got mine yesterday and I will use it mainly with bass. It is perfect.

  • I'm glad that this got included into the review. I can finally declutter my music space and have a single amp for both guitar and bass play. The PA feature is just icing. I wish I could grab this sooner, but I'll have to sell some gear first.

Send me one please? Shooting my shot.
