Spirit – Street Worm – Bass Cover

Bassline as played note-for-note by bass player Mark Andes with the great Rock band Spirit from the LP ‘The Twelve Dreams of Dr. Sardonicus’ released in 1970. YesterdayI transcribed this bassline from ‘scratch’ … just for FUN. Enjoy the listen!
*Song is in the key of D or B minor. Standard tuning: EADG.

Link to the Original Video used for playing along: https://youtu.be/vuaNR7GudFs

My bass is a Rickenbacker 4003 Jetglo bass manufactured in February 2018 with both original pickups. *MODERN Tone Selected*.
Neck pickup volume and Bridge pickup volume at full; and both tone switches are at full. The strings are original Rickenbacker roundwound strings, and the bass is playing through a Marshall B25 MK II amplifier with no additional pre-amp nor sound effects.
My guitar pick is a vintage HERCO Heavy gauge nylon grey pick that I purchased in 1972.
Marshall B25 MK II amp settings: Bass 5 o’clock, Mid 3 o’clock, Treble 5 o’clock.
