..Man… 2:25.. ????????
Very very good
It's because of bass players like this I gave up on the bass guitar and picked up The Chapman Stick!????????
Hello from France. well done, your bass playing is perfect. But you play too fast on the slaps (for thé beginners). It would be nice if you made a video where you go slower on the slaps, dissecting the slaps and how to understand the slap symbols on the tab, and how to play them slowly
Thanks you
I will look and see what else you have done!
Excellent Greg!
Man, so many fantastic lines from that era. Louis was a genius.
Great playing btw and thanks for the tab!
Not bad..
I was playing this when I was 14
????????❤????❤????????
Beauty with talent
And the more I watch this cover I’m blown away with how effortlessly you execute every part of the slap and pop part and with pure ease transitioning into the next part . I’ve just started taking bass lessons about two months ago and as I’m an accomplished drummer I’ve decided I’m not lugging all that gear around anymore , but still want to be playing live music .
Thank you for your time and effort putting together covers and putting up the notation as well .
Awesome cover brother in the pocket just how it was meant to be . Cool as ????????
Excellent. Cant read the tab though
Stompin'!
One of the greatest songs to come out of 1980 scene.!!❤❤❤
Absolute floor filler, great memories.
Thanks Quince an all !❤❤❤❤????????????????❤️❤️????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
No . I was expecting the baseline.
Really it was you ? this is so perfect that one might think is the original bass and you faking, impressive
You did that????????????????????????
Sweet!
what model is that bass? It's beautiful
Hell Yeah
Rest in peace Louis Johnson, he will forever be missed!! ✌️????
MY DAD WAS A BOSS BASS PLAYER HE PASSED LAST AUGUST SO SAD HE NEVER TAUGHT MY SISTER AND I HOW TO PLAY SO I GET SAD HEARING THIS
Excellent!!!!
Wonderful! Very helpful. Thank you!
May I please request you for The Brother Johnson’s Streetwave?
This kid's good! He has soul. Outstanding!
I was pleasantly reintroduced to this song that I used to sing to in the 80s as believe it or not though I went on to become a huge fan of Louis Johnson from the mid 90s onwards I didn't think I'd recognise this song but a fellow UK Bass Player played his bass cover & within seconds I started to realise that this was a gem of a song that I never heard again once the 90s rolled in & by the year 2000 the Music Industry as we became to know it & love it was gone we had all these great songs from the past up until the year 2000 officially , when as far as i was concerned , it flatlined & they never did get a pulse back…
All I seem to be doing is trying to get younger generations constantly as another younger generation goes by & pass this music on & many other of the greatest solo acts & bands that have essentially once successful & whether you were a rapper or not but as soon as a rap sing became hugely successful then that by default puts it into the pop section…
So basically all music is popular once it's found an audience…
In light of this still ongoing coronavirus and it's variants stay safe and healthy wherever you are in this world…
…..
Muy bueno el arreglo , gracias
One of my favorite songs! Phenomenal work my friend!!!
I’m sure the solo is longer originally
Określę Cię jak Miles określił Michała Urbaniaka: "masz brzmienie". Pozdrowienia
Not bad at all, but no one does it as well as Louis Johnson. The only one who does this Perfect is Thomas Risell MarloweDK
You're a genius…!!
I'm sure that even Louis in Heaven would listen to your playing and admire you!
I’ve had this song and bass line on repeat in my head for the last 2 weeks and so I tried learning it today and I’m pretty much able to play the whole thing except the slap solo part now, the solo is very challenging since I’ve only played the bass for 10 months but I learn pretty quickly (because I’m very passionate about bass) so I’ll hopefully be able to play that part in like a month or two when I’ve played for a year
wow, youre really good, im learning the bass at this moment. i wanna learn this song lol
Handled the slap bass like a champ. Excellent cover!
I searched for "Piglet – bug stomp" this came up.
Great!
This song sends me into powerful waves of Joy.
And you play it beautifully.
One caveat.
Short version.
Alas.
Can you consider covering " in the way" featuring " Toto"?
Fantastic job! Bravo, and thank you very much. It's a much appreciated service
Lous Johnson was a hell of a bass player!
Amazing dude you play awesome
