Strymon Iridium Demo and Review | Is it a good amp by 2024 standards?
This is a re-release of a video that had audio problems. I’ve cleaned it up as best as possible without using any compression or audio editing on the amp. I want you to hear how the amp sounds directly even if my mumbling is more difficult to follow.

I have had an iridium for about a year now. I find that the room reverb is not at all trying to sound like the built in reverb on any amp, just adding a bit of room sound to make it sound more "real". Personally I'd agree the fender sound is a bit underwhelming. Usually live on the vox amp with the b cab. Quick tip, your reverbs and delays will sound a whole lot better if you put them after the iridium in your signal chain

. I've had one for some years now… it's very good for recording…. for playing.. meeh.. It really lacks an FX return. The Room knob is not a reverb, but how much room (distance between the mic and the speaker) you are getting. Also the Middle knob on the Fender setting is not a middle knob, but it lets you choose between 2 different fender amps. On the marshall and the Vox it IS a Middle knob. You can also load better IR's than the ones it comes with… which sound a bit plastic
