A shame Andertons don't stock Suhr
A bit late to mention it. Nevertheless, it uses a plate driven fender tonestack.
Guitar player blows, he plays the worst refs when demoing an amp, technique is awful
I'm picking up the 30 this weekend (my first tube amp) but am wondering how often these tubes need to be changed and how hard they are to get ahold of these days? Also, should this amp have a certain kind of tubes in them? Thank you!
That FAT FUCKERS GUITAR PLAYING REMINDS ME OF THE TIME I INADVERTENTLY STEPPED ON THE DOGS BOLLOCKS.????????????
Please tune up Sloppy! Makes a sweet amp sound bad!!!!
This title of the video is a bit misleading. It says “…amp..”, not amp head. Change it, please.
The Captain has nice chops and licks! ????✌????????????
suhr sound is groovy.. obedient, soft, bright…
you guys are the best amp/guitar channel on youtube. can't wait to visit the UK and invade your store. cheers from the states.
As soon as I saw these guys Distorted Thumbs down. They would distort a harp at an orchestra!!!
39:10 rob I think the problem is the guitar, wrong guitar for this amp. Try a Gibson or a Suhr into it. That blue guitar does nothing for it imo. And don’t be afraid to turn your guitar volume down when not soloing, tightens up the crunchy rhythm.
is there a very big volume difference between the 35 and 30, if one at all?
Dear Marshall
Please Do JCM800 Mini 20/5/1 watt or PPIMV on the Back OR 20/10 watt and PPIMV on the back. Perfect for home, rehearsal and gigging.
Please upvote this.
Thanks
what is that wah pedal
I have had an 18 for several years. Honestly, thus review could have been a little better. The power scaling is OK but if you're in a rock band you don't need it. It immediately takes the highs out and starts to lose the dynamics. The lower you set it the fluffier it gets. At home that's fine. The secret of this Amp is nit using it at all. The best tones the Amp has to offer are on both sides of the eq knobs. And why the hell wasn't a Strat used? Why the hell use drop D? Why the hell turn on gain pedals without mentioning it? Pete Thorns original video was perfect.
Naughty guys ! Naughty !!xD
tonally very underwhelming to be honest
If you want a true demonstration of the Badger 30 then just search "Aristocrats Boing We'll Do It Live".
If you don't want one after that then I don't think anything will.
R.I.P Lola <3
At "could you gig it" volumes, the sound went to crap imo.
dang. chappers groove time imo better then ever this time. dang i take it back. prolly was in an off mood b4
yea. really surprise me. i cant believe the groove time the captain has.
suhr actually surprised me.
This amp will play down to 1 watt using the power scaling, not 4 watts as stated in the video.
On 18 model you have also vacuum rectifiers, in opposite to 30&35 models with solid state rectifiers. 18 should sound more vintage.
fuzzzzyyy
In case anyone cares for some reason, we do indeed have badgers in North America. 🙂
how does it compare to sheriff 44?
While I appreciate and thank you for a glimpse of the gear, I would suggest that, when, you compare amps, plug some kind of controlled source in to it. Pedals, and tuning changes? Consistency is probably useful, to relay, the difference between the three similar amps.
They sound rly good but not like double the price a production line good imo. I going with Mark 5 35, plus I need high gain for when I have bad days.
Suhr amps and guitars are overpriced piles! Get a Bogner and grow up!
does anyone else think the captain might be going out on deck for a few sneaky tokes of the green stuff before he does these shows?
Honey badgers are extremely vicious! Suhr Honey badger
fucking girls
John wasn't trying to make a "Marshall" amp.
Hey guys love your vids I do tend to think you cater for detuned players a bit too much. Enough said ? Play in 440hz a bit more please. Most of your viewers are interested in hearing how these guitars and amps sound in standard tuning.
We have badgers in America, mostly in the northern Midwest.
will Andertons stock Suhr guitars?
how about the sl67?
Own the Badger 35, and it's great! If you use the the volume control on your guitar a lot, you can turn the gain all the way up, and still squeak and squawk with the guitar volume down. Lovely cleans.
that sounds great bro
Bill Bailley has some rather frightening information about badgers… but then, he looks a bit like a hippy. I once had a job trying to photograph badgers for a book. Not easy. The little (medium sized) B*** tend to come out at night, a bit like musicians.
Do a review of my amp the Friedman Brown eye 100 just don't look up the price and hear the tone lol.
Never seen Lee so happy as he is at the end xD
Hey Rob, just a question, have you ever played one of those Matamp Amplifiers
What's the riff he plays at 16-17
