Meraviglioso
Great tuto ! You saved my life ! Again good Job !
I hope you can update this video by adding drawing or picture of bar chords
Subbed after second video. I was poking through some sunny lessons and landed on you. These videos are killer. Don't have to spend 10 minutes talking about how to build chords and other nonsense you should prolly have a handle on before trying to dig into these. Get in / lay down layers you need to understand / groove those layers / get out. Big fan of this style.
great!

Great lesson thank you! Does anyone know where I can find a recorded version of Summertime in this key (Dm) that I can play along with? I’ve listened to a bunch of them, and the only ones in Dm are either Colitrane on my favorite things (too “out” and advanced for me), or an aggressive vocal version.
great lesson…why are you not using your ring finger on the Dm7 chord? i see you are fingerpicking but what about using a pick?
Please make more of these tutorials exactly like this!!!!! I recently got into jazz and just about learned all of the standards you've made videos on!! They're the best on YouTube!
Great lesson thanks. I’m just starting my jazz guitar trip & I love this logical, progressive approach. I’ve learned all but the last level so that’s next week’s challenge!
Would you say this is the way experienced, competent, jazzers think about constructing a complete solo over a given chord progression?
Thanks for the precious lesson!! you are very didatic!!
I bought a full lesson – a perfectly prepared lesson. Beautifully designed improvisation. I'm very happy. I recommend it to everyone. Thank you Achim!
Hats off Achim! The best structured lessons in jazz-blues I have come across. Thank you!
Excelente tutorial para aprender a tocar "Summertime" un clásico del jazz. Todos los ingredientes necesarios .puestos y detallados con gran profesionalismo y explicación. Disculpas por no redactar mi comentario en inglés, no hablo, soy mexicano. .Ronny.
You have the best teaching style on the internet it should be a model for others.
este señor es jesucristo
God damn it sounds so good at the end!
Thank-you! You've enlightened me to the mysterious jazz process!
Hi, what is the difference between natural D Minor and E Locrian ?
good lesson
The best jazz guitar lessons on YouTube by a long way. Is there any chance you could do one for Take the A Train?
Very Nice lecon of jazz thank you very much ciao
Thank you MASTER! best lesson ever!
Great great work!! Thanks a lot !!!
thanks
Before: Just a handful of harmonics, arpeggios and licks
After adding swing phrasing: cha cha real smooth
What a great lesson. This is how You Tube lessons or lessons in general should be done.
Loved it. U deserve more likes and subs!
Soy un aficionado con pocos recursos técnicos y tu vídeo me ha servido mucho. Gracias por tu generosidad.
Amazing teaching techniques
You are amazing!
Nice lession good
Very good lesson, very good description and some explanations. Ofc like 🙂
This is a brilliant, crystal clear lesson and approach, and your playing is so smooth and melodic. You have greatly helped take away the intimidation factor i used to feel about trying to learn jazz on the guitar. You are right – it is not an easy road, but it is well worth it. Thank you!
I like your channel, but so much pentatonic scale not enough m7b5 arpeggio and jazz pentatonic, with added 7th.
Thank you so much!!!!
Great lesson but can you tell me what kind of guitar and amp your using, thanks.
this is how a youtube lesson supposed to be. no bullshit no talking this fret that note… just amazing step by step approach, with all the theory you need showing at the same time.. its just perfect. other channels should take this as an example. 24 min lesson not a single second wasted. you can always rewatch, slow it down.
ive really learnt a lot from you, im so glad to have found you, wish you lived close so i could study one on one with you
Thanks for the lesson!
These lessons are gold dust! I'm learning blues & jazz guitar and theory, and this is excellent.
Just subscribed – thank you 🙂
This the kind of stuff to spend a whole summer afternoon with a guitar and a beer bottle… I need this
