  • Are you using stock virtual instruments from studio one ? They all sound great and you showcase them perfectly in these lessons!

  • I just recently discovered your channel, and just stopped by to say thanks. I enjoy your attention to detail and precision, and your excellent longform composing videos. It's very motivational to watch other people at work – it has definitely increased my own productivity in the last week. I haven't done any MIDI slapping in years, and yet here I am, totally in the jazz dance mood (here's mine: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xlW9q_7AMF0 )

  • I'm glad I learned more of this. Thanks, Max! Can't wait to see other videos like this like programming strings, piano, woodwinds, and maybe guitar? I dont know how mch time you have but I am always looking forward to whatever knowledge you got to offer

  • Love this! These three videos show how much more diverse the bass and the bass line can be, than just an accompaniment instrument.
Do you sidechain the bass to the kick when they "collide" in frequences, which was more the case in part two of this series?
Anyway, great walkthrough of what different possibilities there are for piecing together a groove.

  • Excellent tutorial, but you don't let the bass play alone , or to play louder than the other tracks to understand first the whole track, and after analyze it
