Testing my New Guitar Mic … full sound, fat tone … done searching.

I have been testing this awesome mic from the NVTone family (https://nvtone.com) called Duo Model System and I love it.
Fat sound, full tone, and extremely balanced. #nvtone #nvtonepickup

I’ve never used external mics to record my acoustic guitar so I always loved the tiny condenser mics that you can easily plug inside the body of your acoustic guitar.

One of my favorite 🙂

????FAQs:
Are you a full-time YouTuber?
Yes, I am on YouTube as Marco Cirillo, and I promote my videos on my website BlitzGuitar.com. All the courses I post online are available on my Patreon page https://bit.ly/2rMAPYG

How long have you been playing guitar for?
I started playing guitar when I was 10 years old, so it has been more than 20 years. I have always loved fingerpicking guitar, so this is why all my tutorials focus on this topic.

Why are you on Patreon?
Patreon is great! It allows creators to make money doing what they love. On Patreon I can share my guitar lessons with my Patrons and get paid for it. As a creator, I feel like Patreon really made a huge difference in the way I share my content 🙂

Do you do concerts?
I used to do a lot of gigs in the past. London is a great place to play music almost every day. When my YouTube channel started to grow, I decided to go all in and try to help as many people as possible learning guitar. This goal takes all the time I have available, so I am not doing any gig or concert atm.

  • Thnx for the review! Everything is cool with microphones when using them in the studio. I have problems when using them live, because of the feedback issues. I'm a fingerstyle player, so I just can't get enough mic gain without getting feedback, so the mic volume has to be lower than piezzo, which I hate, since piezzo souds terrible for fingerstyle and can't get any body resonation with it. I bough DPA 4099 mic, which has highest gain before feedback, but still can't get it up enough in small venues… my question is did you try this mic on a live gig and how high can you raise the volume before getting feedback? Thnx in advance for the answer!

  • Ciao ciao ciao, beautiful as always..Just a brief question, was this the only microphone or was it blended with some kind of under saddle pickup ?? I do have some K&k Pure on some of my guitars and I'm a little afraid regarding potential phase issues ??

  • Are you using the existing jack on the journey instruments guitar? Or do you have to drill another hole in the guitar for the nvtone mic? Also did you install it in your of660 (carbon fiber journey instruments guitar??

  • I love your guitar. The neck on my guitar is very narrow. Yours seems much wider. I find it hard not to bump into other strings. I've had it for over 40 years. I started watching your videos and they opened doors for me to look at finger style in a new way. I'm an amateur that's for sure so my progress is slow and I've been around this planet for a long time. I was very pleased to see how you used open strings and simple chords. I was trying to do a lot with barre chords or just using all 6 strings with alternating thumb and I was getting nowhere fast. Thanks much. Your style is sublime.

  • Can you make a video on how you put that microphone inside the soundbox of that guitar. I have an acoustic guitar and it has no pickup. So i record by placing an external mic nearby. It is quiet inconvenient. I really want to switch to such kind of inbuilt microphone system for my guitar
