  • I would dare and say is the dinky 7 on the same price range i have one for like 6 yrs and the rest are ibanez prestige 7-8-9 strings but the joy of this bloody thing on how fast frets and problem free it has been thru the years. Ibanez is awesome but it dont compare on the same price range my humble opinion. Sometimes i wonder how higher grade 7-8 jacksons will compare vs same price other brands. But i cant afford any nrw guitar for the rest ten years ahaha would be a nice video tho if you could find some equal mid to high prices 7s to compare

  • Brother I play this guitar way more than I play my RGA7 more than twice the price.
All stock. It’s a great guitar.

  • The color combo of the body and fretboard makes the guitar really pop. It almost looks like a custom/signature series, as most affordable guitars have bland color schemes.

  • @ChiefSweet This is a great review! This guitar, I'm going to have tot est this one out at guitar center soon. I use to have an ESP LTD M-17 back in the day. was disappointed with that 7 string. cause it had a 25.5 inch scale. scale length is too short in my personal opinion. for the past 9 years, the Jackson JS 22-7 is what's been on my mind. especially during the time i got that ESP 7 string. i got rid of that guitar almost 3 years ago because it broke. now that I'm getting back into the world of 7 string guitar again, I am sold on the Jackson JS 22-7 HT guitar. if you want another 7 string, pick up one for yourself. It has a 26.5 inch scale, perfect scale length for drop tuning. I will keep you posted on how the guitar works out for me buddy. I am stoked. I already picked up a Jackson 7 and 8 string multi-gig bag. Had to get it from guitar center since amazon is out of that gig bag. Now that the gig bag arrived a few days ago, it has been untouched. zippers on it are a bit flimsy. I'm going to pick up the Jackson JS 22-7 HT guitar soon. once that guitar arrives, I will put it in my gig bag. I already bought. Will keep you posted on the 7 string's playing ability, and will let you know how well it stays in tune. keep it metal brother. and get yourself a jackson 7 string. reviews on that 7 string dinky are superb. Just waiting for the prices on this guitar to go down. I noticed on amazon, that the guitar was $159 a few weeks ago. if the price goes down to $159, i'm taking that chance, and getting the guitar when it's around that exact price.

  • I have it and it’s awesome, I was thinking of adding a tremolo system to it. Is that a good idea or not?

  • Tried one. Was not impressed at all. Fret buzz, sharp frets, electronics/wiring was sketchy out of the box. But-you get what you pay for.
For $200-250 dollars plus a fret job, plus a re-wiring and new pickups? You could have a 7-string guitar that you will/can play right out of the box. In truth-never been a fan of any Ibanez.
For a beginner, I suppose it would be fun to learn on a 7 string of this level of build. Like he stated-best guitar for $200-don't expect a Schecter or a PRS.

  • Hey, I'm back with a question: I recently bought this guitar and I'm starting to learn how to play on guitar. But the question I have is: how can I get such a Metal sound (6:40)? Do I need any pedals with effects for this, or is a guitar with an amp enough?

  • I've had this guitar since the summer of 2020 and the guitar is fantastic for $200. I still have the stock pickups in it.

  • Its 10 pounds like most seven strings I got one it was damaged brand new from shipping I had to correct the neck it was setting high made the low string set low on the fret and the high string set almost off the fret when I fixed the problem I can honestly say this guitar is really good.

  • Stew mac sells a hipshot flat plate bridge for these. Get a set of locking tuners and new pickups. You have a bomb guitar for $500 or less.

  • I was in a pawn shop today. Seen that guitar you are playing for $100. Thinking of getting it. Let you know in a few days how it sounds

  • I remember 11 years ago the schecter c7 went for 200$. Back before they had classes of it like hell raiser, demon, omen, etc.

    Now it's around 550$.

I regret selling it. It was the best guitar I had ever had period.

  • Is it okay to start with a 7 string guitar?
I still don't know what to buy as my first guitar
