Love my super champ
I have a Pro Reverb 81' blackface amp from Fender "Rivera" era. bought at a yard sale cleaned up not only pretty but sounds great. Heavy to carry and 70 Watts of sound. Seem like a good pedal amp as well.
Wow! That Rivera. I’m off to go find one!!!!!!!!!!!
What model amp is sitting between Tim and Rivera? The purple amp. I can't seem to find it anywhere online. Thanks in advance.
Rivera, Dumble, Fischer…
What's funny is everything made in the CBS Era of Fender and the Norlin Era used to be looked down on by the cork sniffers of the day as junk, now it's all going for top dollar.
Gunars Knubis ugh
No wonder im bald from pulling my hair out..the boards leaked Jes'us looking Santa Claus..
Sheesh…1000s of dollars down the drain…
Those amps sound amazing
That "I feel fine" riff was nasty. And the tone from the Rivera amp. Damn I wanted that solo to go on and on.
I didn't want to spend the money on a vintage Fender amp. Then I stumbled onto a video of a Dr. Z Zmaster with Joe Walsh's name on it. Some vintage amps were going for $6000. This amp is $3000 brand new. Now it's my go to amp.
May be remembering it wrong, but didn’t Paul used to say favorite output tubes are 6v6 because they can do el84 and are more reliable and can be fatter?
That Concentric Tremolo Pot is GENIUS, I can’t believe I didn’t think of that. Totes Stealing that for my next build
I'm looking to find out what monitor system you use to hear the results of the mics in to your DAW.
Can't seem to find it.
I'm living in Germany and I own a Proreverb Silverface from 74 for 35 years. Its CBS but I love the clean sound with my Jazzguitar. Its realy bathing in sound ❤
You are such a BADASS! Lol
Hi Tim, just discovered your channel and subbed. I've not had a chance to completely explore your channel because i discovered it yesterday but I'm a life long fan of Hendrix and I am also a guitar player since 1990. If you haven't already, can you talk about the Jimi Hendrix Blues album. Man I really dig that one and id love to hear your take on it. Thank you.
Hi Tim, would you consider adding a section to the masterclass on digital amp modelers?
Rivera probably the most recorded amps of all time. Every studio in the West Coast and down south has Rivera amps.
Tim, where can I buy one of those 50W custom super champ 2024 amps
Hi Tim, Thank you or this most marvelous visit with a true master, Mr Paul Rivera.
You still surviving the new fires intact? A shame for anyone to lose their house, much less one that provides learning and magic to so many. Stay Safe!
Hoping you and yours are safe and sound Tim I saw that you had gotten your Guitars out of harms way. Please update us. I'm pretty much the same age as you and have returned to the guitar after a many year shooting movies. I do like to spice up the Blues scale with notes borrowed from the makors scale. I have found some licks sounding Brian Mayish lie in their and that there is alot of classical music when noodling. I put a saturated tone that's cello sounding or dstring sounding and play to a Glen gouldish kind of rythym and run through the classical melodies and the buttons on the phrases just land somilar to playing the blues. If you have a good ear their just obvious. It's alot of fun. I'm sure you've stumbled into this Aoelien melody ear and finger warm up great fun. Best mof luck Thanks for all you do Keep smiling. Hugs bud.
