The Best Guitar Pedals Under $30 PERFECT for Beginners & Intermediate guitarists

Taking a look at these affordable guitar pedals from Indio by MonoPrice. For $29.99 these are an insanely good guitar pedal. I think they sounded fantastic and are most certainly professional level guitar pedals and a beginners guitar player price.

  • Thanks for the demo! I ordered the chorus pedal before fully checking it out. Seems like it should all be good.

  • you have wonderful playing, my only concern about you demonstrating the distortion pedal was that you did not play at the lower notes at all besides to accent certain chords and a little pentatonic in the higher strings, which makes it hard to compare to other pedals since that is the most important frequency/dynamics in the gain structure are those notes. Nonetheless it sounds great and thank you for uploading, I appreciated it. 🙂

  • I bought the distortion. It does actually sound pretty good, but you get what you get. The knobs don't do hardly anything to change the tone. You get one sound and that's all, though that one sound is pretty good. I do think the Behringer pedals are more versatile for the money.

  • Crap review. Like who wants to get a distortion pedal and just play cowboy chords? Next time play some riffs and chugs to see how well it tracks for palm muted riffs . No cowboy is buying this ????

  • If I use the dis and the chorus to play Nirvana songs would sound similar? Sorry for my English! Great review, Thanks!

  • He does not mention that the rate knob on the chorus has a detent near the bottom of the range and once you go past it, the rate is totally off.

  • It is extremely annoying when reviewers insist on using only dirty base tone for pedal demos. You are demoing your amp, not the pedal. Useless.

  • Dude, you didn't really 'look' at them. Do they have 9 volt battery compartments or what ?

  • i bought the analog delay for 40 bucks at a local music shop, and i dont regret it

  • I've been on a 80s hair metal kick. The distortion sounds like it will do the job. It's under $20 right now so I bought it

  • So, is the DS-6 supposed to be a Boss DS-1? Just looking for a comparison. Sounds ridiculous…

Also, your take on that chorus vs. a small clone?

How accessible are the electronics, if I were to get these as modding projects?

  • hey thanks for the vid – Im actually trying to get the sound of your clean guitar out of my hollow body. do I just need some more gain to get that bit of fuzz? thanks

  • I have tried a plethora of pedals and it seems just like guitars the inexpensive pedals have gotten amazingly better. I have TC Electronics, Caline , and Donner stuff on my board and couldn't be happier with my tone.

  • Between the Indio delay pedal and the Behringer VD400, if you had to recommend one, which would it be? Thanks

  • These are all on sale right now for $20.99 which is pretty incredible. The distortion sounded great, although it seems to boost the high end and cut the mids, which would not be good for my single-coil Strat. The analog chorus was too subtle for me, I'm still looking for something better. The delay was okay but again, subtle. It only goes up to 350 milliseconds and I have a cheap MIMIDI which goes a full 1,000 so I lean toward something was more range. I'm thankful to see someone review these Monoprice pedals though, you seem to be the only one right now, lol!

  • I have a three knob monoprice 611610 chorus I bought some years back new and it's way too noisy to use. Kept it in box ever since and am gonna email them to see if they'll swap. This indio one sounds amazing!
