There's no debate to be had. Neither and both at the same time.
Bernth pleaaase can you make a guitar tone tutorial PLEEEEEEAAAASEEEEEE
Bridge, Outer Coils and middle drive me crazy! ????
You can’t say which one is better everyone’s tone is different so use what sounds good for your mix! Love the vids though keep rocking brother!
Outer coils ftw
I thought he was going to do the Slash solo at the beginning of the video ????
Outer Coils
Outer coils, for this guitar specifically. I had a single humbucker ('72 Seymour Duncan Super Distortion) mystery strat (black headstock with no name, rumored to be a "sample guitar" factories sent before real production way back when) that was coil tapped some way and the coil tapped mode was the most smooth thing I've ever listened to
IMO:
1 – Outer split
2 – Bridge
3 – Middle
4 – Inner split
5 – Neck
What the name of that guitar ????
bridge
These amps go to 11 ????
Second
Oops the outer coils doubt
I thought inner coils have the snatch on to you effect
I think if I'm not wrong then.
It would depend on the tone or the dynamics of the solo you are playing.
Sounds like he heard his guitar riffs from guitar hero
BRIDGE FUCKING EVERY DAY
With my cheap earphones I can't tell it's all great
Try parallel coils
Bridge❤
Bridge every time. The brightness and clarity makes solos jump out front and center where they should be. The split outer coils sound great too. I've never understood soloing with the neck pickup, the harmonics and bite disappear in that position.
"Which pick up sounds best?" The expensive ones
Will it take 20 years to sound like Bernth? Hope I live that long.
My answer is 4. It's always down to perspective/preference.
EVH had the best tone and most of it was done with one pickup. Just sayin…
Bernth: Which pickup position sounds best when I play?
Me: YES
Bridge for high end attack and sharpness. Neck for shredding fast.
Bridge for high gain. Neck for cleans.
You played the best parts for the corresponding pickups.
Bridge = Metal!
It really depends. I typically use either bridge, or neck. Rarely do I use both pickups (or any single coil combo).
Bridge pickup gives it a sharp, cutting tone that helps highlight the guitar and make it stand out. That's the crux of it though. The neck pickup is smooth, helps make the playing sound less messy, and can introduce a much mellower but still audible and enjoyable pick attack.
Bridge for solos have their place, but there is no be-all end-all pickup position for solos as there's times and places to use different tones.
Honestly, different solo sections call for different pickup positions. It all just depends on the mix and composition
I’ve always found with my lead playing that the bridge or outer pickups suit me best. For tapping however, the neck pickup hits different. ????????
I like the outer coils but they were all similar enough tbh.
I like the bridge
Well they all sound in what you were doing. It seams you used each position to express the changes your solo when through.
I can hear dopamine’s solo???? beautifu
It depends on what you’re playing, if you want sharp notes with loads of harmonics you go on bridge and the more you go towards the neck the more you have a smooth sound but you give away attack when you pick as well. So it really depends what you are playing and how do you want it to sound, that’s why you have got a switch selector on your guitar, if you would not need one they would have saved money and not bother giving you that feature ????
(Well like George Lynch for example, he thought he might not need it, still sounded amazing)
Best guitar position is in Bernth's hands.
Def the first
The correct position is the one that makes the sound you like the best
Dudes awesome.
Outer coils
Can't see any difference
Die erste Einstellung! Erinnerte mich irgendwie direkt an Suicidal Tendencies ????
I closed my eyes and i swear they sounded the same
Outer coils sound amazing to me
