  • A lot of people complain about it be too bottom heavy, but I like the bassiness of the 40. And teamed it up with the cab. Love it even more.

  • Maybe I am biased (no pun intended, maker of Bias FX 2) because I own the Spark 40, but the side by side comparison made the Spark 40 sound beefy and full and the Spark 2 sounded thin and too treble.

  • I just got the go-ahead from my wife to get a new everything since my old stuff doesn't work right. I just ordered the sire T3, the spark 2, and the pedal. I haven't played in years, but if it doesn't sound good, i don't want to play at all.

  • Spark 2 definitely sounds better. Not sure what he was doing.

The looper however is dumb, even with the pedal.

  • you don't play guitar for watching amp on your cellular , bruh ! all is fake ????

  • Who wants to spend more on software for either of these? A better tube amp clicks all my boxes for me.

  • Anybody with a problem with the spark 40. As far as I can read on everything all day about it .

First everyone is annoyed because the dials jump when you move them on the app. So you use a preset and store your setting , right?
And you also use your EQ to reduce the bass or muddy tone . Problem solved . And I have no clue about sound and stuff but it seem to be pretty simple as long as you are playing at home. So it seems to be a simple EQ setting on each preset.

  • Good to know as I have used my Spark 40 for about a total of 4 hours since I got it (when it was first released) as it was so bass heavy, I couldn't stand it.

  • Nice tone out of that AC Boost! I am loving the spark 2 for the studio! Such a versatile little amplifier! I cant get enough of the high gain amp models!

  • Hi, cool Video ????I have a question about the HD Effect and Amp Models? Are these the same ones as eg. on the spark Mini just in better quality? Or entirely different amps? And can you deactivate the cabinet section on the Spark2?

  • So looks like they fixed the basic spark problem which was too much low end and muddy tone?

I am happy with my THR10ii but maybe I’ll add a spark 2 or boss katana to my collection in the future ????.

  • I got the Spark 2. When they say practice amp they really mean it I guess because it's not fit for anything else. I'm very disappointed with it.

  • The Ai feature on this thing, is amazing honestly. The one thing about the spark 40 that I never could get, was an ADA MP1 Preset #45 tone. I literally typed in that exact phrase to the ai, and got something that sounds insanely close. Also named other hair metal songs, and it was just popping out tones that came very close to matching the song.

  • Dang. Was stoked to upgrade my spark 40, but based on the sound of Spark 2 its a hard pass. Are you sure you matched the preset accordingly? The new spark sounds tinny, thin, and has no dimension to its sound. Sounds like you just turned the lows all the way down.

  • Don't know why they call it the spark…. should have been called the thud because that's what they sound like. ????
