????NEW!???? TABS AVAILABLE AT MY NEW PATREON PAGE: https://www.patreon.com/JamieRobinson

I have decided to launch a Patreon site thanks to the suggestion from subscribers and students! I will be posting Tabs (Guitar Pro & PDF), Backing Tracks, MP3s of Original Music, Exclusive Lessons, and Hosting Exclusive Lesson Livestreams where I answer all your guitar questions!

If there’s anything else you’d like to see included on my Patreon, be sure to let me know in the comments!

Today I’m demoing the DJP-1000 Jazz Guitar from @Donnermusic_Official! I was VERY impressed with this guitar. It looks SO sharp and sounds amazing. I’ve always wanted to have a nice semi-hollow guitar but didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a high-end model. For the price, I don’t think this guitar can be beat! Check out the links below for the specs and EXCLUSIVE DISCOUNT CODE!

  • Is it possible to add a vibrato arm to this kind of guitar? I see Harley Benton makes a similar model in that price range with vibrato, but it doesn't look as cool as this one.

  • I picked up this guitar as a cheap back up to my Gretsch Electromatic and this thing does not disappoint!

  • The tone is not only the guitar but important the amp that 'fits' sound wise. So what Amp do you use ? Nice review, thanks for sharing.

  • I can hide my poor performance and lack of skill with effects and distortion, This intro on a clean channel highlights the skill of the player and the quality of the guitar.

  • The pickups sound very good(Not muddy) did you have to tweak the eq to achieve this or are the pickups actually not muddy?

  • The problem with all these cheaper non-name brands is that their quality is basically clear coat deep. They all look shiny and nice. Clear coating is the cheapest way to make it look like "quality". But the pickups are bad, the electronics are worse and the gluing, just wait… I bought a Firefly to see what the hype was about. It just not worth it. I gave it to my son's school mate. After a year, he just gave it away when he got an Epiphone DOT. These guitars are probably all made in the same factory in China, just with different brands. They are cheap here but you would be surprised with the mark up. They are made for even cheaper. Then they look for youtubers to sponsor and say good things about their guitars. Notice how the smaller the youtuber, the more likely he is to talk about smaller brands. It's best to buy chinese made guitars from brands which own their own factories there and can be on top of things. Such as Hagstrom and Epiphone. Or buy made in Korea, which at least has less factories building dime a dozen instruments.

  • It’s a great looking guitar. Nice playing but for the money, I’d rather get into the Ibanez artcore semi hollow series.

  • I’m about to pull the trigger to niu this one. But then again o am worried about the long term of over all performance of the guitar like the electronics and materials they used. Hoping for your follow-up review after 6 months. Thanks fellow canadian for the review
