The "worst" overdrive pedals are usually pedals I would think of as distortion pedals that people use like they are overdrive pedals, like the Rat.
Worst Ever Overdrives: Artec Cool Drive (actually anything from Artec wins here); JHS Charlie Brown; JHS The AT+. But the winner is the UA Ruby. Absolute Shit, overhyped crap.

I am so glad that you initially disqualified products that you’re involved with in some way. I can’t speak for everyone but I REALLY appreciate the transparency with that because it would be very easy to do what a lot of channels do and push their own products or products they’re involved with in some capacity so to have it separate is great for us, the customers

My choice for 2024 would be the Baum Celestor, a beautiful modern take on the Stratocaster. Second would probably be the Neural DSP X series, and plugins on the Quad Cortex. UAD FX Dream, Ruby and Lion coming to plugin, and on sale Black Friday was nice too. Third is the Antigua Squier Bass VI, it's killer looking, like the much loved, and now pricey discontinued Antigua Squier Jaguar Baritone. That White Gold Gretsch Electromatic Jet. Got a B-stock one and really like it through my Vox amp. With the Bigsby, a bit of boost, tremelo, a healthy splash of spring reverb, it's such a characterful guitar. That Gretsch and my Epiphone Casino are my character guitars, they don't sound like the others. The Gretsch is sparkly when clean, but pushed has heft but a satisfying grain. The Epiphone is chimey and bell-like when clean, but barks and howls like a wolf when driven. Both love Vox amps. I would like a Strandberg, but I'm stuffed. And think if I add anything would be a Baritone.
