Just checked the shop and looks like all the ones sized for fender are out of stock. How is no one else making these?
I wonder if it would work better to put it underneath the strings and then rotate the fingers toward the outside. That would stop it from falling off by accident.

I just use a sponge in a sock and it doesn’t cost me $40
I think I can do this at home, with my dish sponge. But, it's cool!

I use the white magic sponges – those things that are meant to clean everything and don't really? However, they are simply the perfect density to mute the base. Cut a strip and push is under the strings. Magic!

Note: They come with different string spacings. You'll see Scott's has "19" written on it. As far as I know they're only available from Bass Direct here in UK.

This looks exactly like fender pickup height foam, just with little notches for the strings. I threw some foam insulation from a window AC kit under my bridge cover and it works pretty well, maybe not quite as dead sounding but damn close
