The Epiphone Dave Grohl DG 335!!

Epiphone Dave Grohl DG-335 Semi-hollowbody Electric Guitar – Pelham Blue
Requested by Foo Fighters fanatics for more than a decade, Dave Grohl’s iconic, diamond-clad semi-hollowbody makes its way into standard production with the Epiphone Dave Grohl DG-335. This premium-grade Epiphone immaculately replicates the Grammy winner’s ultra-rare Gibson Custom DG-335 signature model, starting with a crisp and resonant laminated maple body and Trini Lopez–inspired bound diamond-shaped soundholes. Next, the chunky, one-piece mahogany neck proudly supports a laurel fingerboard that’s flush with eye-catching split-diamond mother-of-pearl inlays. It’s all topped off with an angular Firebird-style headstock equipped with Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners, complementing the rock-solid reliability of the LockTone ABR bridge. However, the Epiphone Dave Grohl DG-335’s Gibson Custom inspiration reaches far beyond the aesthetic realm — a superb pair of Gibson USA Burstbucker pickups emboldens the DG-335 with a rich, expressive, and remarkably dynamic humbucking roar that’ll show off the best (the best, the best) of your riffs and rhythms. A professional-grade instrument in every respect, the Epiphone Dave Grohl DG-335 is no pretender; it’s the real deal and ready to fuel your “Everlong” alt-rock aspirations.

  • It's a bit pricey for what your getting. The color is way off that of gibson dg 335 Pelham Blue it doesn't look bad though. if it had a gibson abr 1 bridge, gibson tailpiece and rosewood board I would of bought one day but for $2200 cad with tax I'll pass. On the dg-335 I've played in store the frets work wasn't very good with two high frets and they needing a good polish and it had finishing cracks on the neck from the nut down mine you this was a demo model. I love the neck and it sounded good. I really enjoy your playing.

  • Jon… this is a beautiful guitar.
However, you sold me on the Harley Benton Fusion T guitars with the roasted maple neck.
I want to purchase the black reflective surface Fusion T and replace the maple neck with a roasted maple neck. Are the necks interchangeable between the Fusion T guitars?

  • Very nice !!! I like Epiphones 335. They feel good and I love the pu's. A few years ago, I picked a new Epiphone Les Paul ES. It's basically a semi hollow 335 shaped like a Les Paul with the 335 electronics. Epiphone has been doing some good feeling and playing guitars. Thanks for this review Jon !!!

  • I love everything about these guitars except for the color. If I could get one in say, Chicago Blue or Sparkling Burgundy for example, I'd be sold. Well done video and great playing as always, sir!

  • I just managed to pick up an Epiphone shinichi ubukata 355 signature with bigsby. Same Gibson wiring cts pots etc. Gibson 57 pickups and hard case. On offer at £799. A lot cheaper than the Dave grohl version and ebony fretboard as well. Stunning. But the Dave grohl is lovely guitar just to expensive for what it is. You do make it sound stunning. But you do that with every guitar. ????

  • Very nice looking. Those diamond-shaped holes are brought out every once in a while for a Gibson-Epiphone signature model.
    Nice playing, as always, Jon.
