  • Don't forget, it has 2 EL84's in the power section. It is indeed a tube amp, with some amazing digital features. The stock IR's are fantastic, and the Structure modes are a beautiful addition. I LOVE my Syn-20IR already!

  • I was really hopeful years ago when George Lynch went for this on his "LynchBox" amp design. Good to see the idea is still one an amp manufacturer sees as worth while.

  • Yous guys are such funny salesmen. It's so cheap you should buy a new one every year!

  • As someone with a home studio I really do love the idea of this, I have since I first saw it. But I just don't see why anyone would buy into this format with such an incredibly high cost of entry. It's just too expensive. Even if you don't get a cab, let's say just for the argument, this little head with just two modules would already be £1750. For that money, you can easily find and buy two brilliant and brand new amplifiers, could be heads or combos, or even two mini stacks with a 1×12 or 2×12 each. What then is the actual value of buying into this format? It's just unreasonable and illogical to charge £1000 for a 20 watt power amp, even if it does have a basic-as-can-get clean channel.

  • Just got one yesterday. Phenomenal studio tool. The direct out with power amp emulation this good is an engineers dream!

Every sound is really good to GREAT. Such a capable box for such a small size.

  • Didn't Dean Markley and Seymour Duncan make modular amps in the 80s, and after a bit they just sort of… broke?

  • Randall did this about 20 some odd years ago. The concept is not new. IR wasn’t a thing back then but you could do a fender type module and a Marshall type module in the same amp.

  • Personally I use Sims for pedals as well as pedals and the multiple effects pedal has Sims for amps ???? speakers ???? microphones & as I said pedals. This IMO is the future!!! If you play solo or in a band. Less gear to lug around. Plus most arenas pubs bars clubs banquet halls have house speakers for use. Easy to set up break down.. Love This Awesome ???????? Cheers ???? ???????? ???? ????????????????

  • So in short, it's a tube amp that is clapping back at modelling amps. While it's a cool concept, there are some crazy good floor modellers that will get you a ton more options with only one investment, two if you need a power amp to run them through. I do like this idea, but I don't know if it's going to put the modelling amps out of business.

  • I love the idea, but I don't love the execution. I get that it's hard to tell via youtube, but something about the power section sounds weird. It doesn't sound like emulation, it just comes out of the gate sounding too produced. I have listened to your vid, and Micheal Nielsens vid multiple times. Both of yall usually get really good sounds, but there is something about this that sounds off to me. Maybe if I got one in my hands I'd feel different or be able to dial it out, I dunno.

  • 21:40 No it DOESN'T sir… NO it doesn't… it doesn't sound anywhere near as "Full" and is rather wimpy compared to a decent tube amp. Dang YT BS artists selling gear and lying their A's off $$$
