Awesome
I can’t tell if I have copped a sound till I double track and listen to the blend
7 miles from the amp!! I have to try that.
It's not "stealing someone else's tone". It's an education through back-engineering of sound.
Thanks for doing all the obsessive compulsive work I could never do because im not that passionate about any one guitarist. However, I love Josh's tone so thats really awesome to hear mixed together. Keep doing what youre doing
sounds real good, listening the original I mostly hear more depth down the mono chain and a little panning of a room mic to the other side from direct signal. the drums in the original get all their nice deep freq from the overhead. you nailed it, so good, love it <3
Complimenti fratello…ogni tanto torno sui tuoi vecchi video e mi piacciono sempre di più…auguri per questo 2025, tanta fortuna!
Eric Valentine said he would mic the back of the cabinets to get more low end
Amazing work! ????????????
Maybe a little too much room verb and not enough lows
Super awesome. So much of getting this song right is the tight and choppy right hand work. You’re the only one on YouTube that plays it this way.
Is that an Eastwood or Ovation
Consegui com o American Sound da Joyo
i agree, this is a lot of fun to watch. sounds really good!
Quite a bit of research and experimentation – amazing stuff! Great to see how these weird amps that have very unique and kinda mediocre sound by themselves can be made into gold in combination and with lots of elbow grease.
COPYING ? MORE LIKE DIVURING OUT HOW TO GET A VARIETY OF THE DIFFERENT TONES BUT FOR ME IT IS FILLING UP MY OWN LITTLE TINY BRAIN WITH KNOWLEDGE WORTH KNOWING! THANKS FOR THE VIDEO
LOL 7 MILES
For the kyuss and qotsa tube sound on a budget you can get the rack preamp I think tubework works rt 922 is the model , easier to find than the rt2100 and cheaper , got mine for 400 ish. Also I run it through my Silverstone combo.
Super. Totally helps me to develop my own guitar sound
Damn, you got close. Well done.
excellent job man. really good stuff
You do what makes you happy fuck the haters
as long as you build onto the tone you chase and make it your own by tweaking it and adding stuff your ear likes, stealing tones isn't that big of a deal.
Thats my perspective on it..
Where did you get the stems from? I'd love to have them
Thanks a lot for the Video! FR
30cm = 12 inches roughly
This is so sick!!!!!!!
Always thought, no one knows, which amps he used..
per-fect
