the Talos bass amp – Fretless bass

Here is a demonstration of the Talos bass amp – Pure Tone Amps. Lefteris Papadakis is using an Ibanez GWB20th fretless bass. Connected to the amp is 2X12″ cab and the sound is captured with no effects during master. A loop was recorded with the same bass and used as a background. The Talos is a rich sounding amplifier that puts out 100W and give round and sweet tones with a many features to fine tune your sound. It features dual preamps for different behaviour – feel and the user can fine tune the two tones, two characters EQ/Pure and can use 6L6, KT77, EL34 output valves and vary its tone and behaviour with bias adjustment. The video and sound was captured at the Ampotheke – September 2020. Sound recorded using an AKG 414XL II as a room mike and a SHURE 55 as a close mike thru a Pure Tone Amps Fabbrica preamp.
