A huge thanks to Vola for sending this out for review! Just to let you know Vola is letting me keep this guitar but I have not been paid in addition to this. All the thoughts and critiques are my own.

  • Why string tree though? Sire S7FM is more beautiful, and doesn't have this additional friction point. More stable tuning.

  • How about the overall action hight?
And hence the thick neck profile not suitable for smaler hands?

    Greetings from Holland ????????

  • One of the best tones I’ve heard – even the middle is very useful – killer sounds!!

  • This second review that ive seen on this gtr and I just dont think the pickups sound good at all. Thin, sometimes just on the edge of ice pick in the head. Not at this price point.

  • Done buying expensive guitars……what I mean by that….. anything over $800.00….just not worth to me…..if you can afford it great……I've had enough,

  • Yep MIJ guitars quality are pretty damn good . Nice tones and playing Shane. You should have a look at super elite guitars from Japan called Sugi Guitars !

  • Great guitar Shane. Love the sunburst color. Are you planning on gigging with the Vola? A review of playing live with this guitar would be cool. Awesome channel !

  • The body shape with the thinner, longer horns looks like a Peavy Raptor Plus Exp. And the S S H pickups with two knobs also looks like a Raptor.

  • Hi Shane. Greetings from Barnsley in the Republic of South Yorkshire, U.K. Thanks for bringing all these guitar brands to our attention. You are really spreading the word for the "newbies" to the known market (and especially when you need a left-handed version!). Have you heard of/looked at Ormsby? I think they are based in Perth. You might struggle to get a leftie and the guitars I have seen are fan-fretted, but they may be keen. Thanks again and stay well.

  • Hahaha.. you couldn't find the whammy bar during the unboxing video. I was gonna ask if you eventually found it. Well, looks like you found it, then lost it ????

  • That's a beast! It's nice to see Vola doesn't just do shredder pointy guitars. Any chance a FGN guitar (Fugijen) can end up on the channel?

  • So sad to say ..but …a vast majority of guitar players during these times may only not be able to afford another guitar but will be forced to sell a few of their favorite guitars …Sometimes reality sucks ☹️

  • The sustain is almost in the territory of my Burny sustainer – I got on of the lite ones – if anyone has one I made a YT vid on how to convert it to also have harmonic sustain – insane £10 mod.

Love the neck – likes the SX. As I got older the thicker necks just feel better.

  • Great review Shane. It's a great looking and sounding guitar. I have a Suhr Classic, love it. does this guitar split the bridge for position 2 so you get traditional out of phase sound?

  • The more people that buy these the sooner Fender and Gibson will get the message that we are over their poor QC and overpriced guitars.

  • Visually, the guitar has an "Ibanez-ish" vibe to it. Sort of like something that Andy Timmons would play.

  • Imagine…Putting a chrome covered humbucker in your Classic Vibe…..Then, compare the tones and feel. Then the price. Heheheheh

  • Like the 50's looks including the cream volume and tone knobs. Overall it sounds more modern and snappy (I think that might round off "a little" with playing in). The bridge hum bucker is very well voiced: wide range and rounded without any dullness, especially jumping from single coil to hum bucker it is well balanced so that makes it very useful.

  • That's a Classy Modern Classic Hybrid Strat! Looks and Sounds very solid.
I'm fine with the Headstock Shape but I would have to get a slightly thinner Neck for me… That's by no way a criticism just a personal preference. SWEET TONES and a GREAT REVIEW Shane… I think you need to hang on to this one.

  • Very cool. As a fellow lefty player (and a lover of Japanese quality) I went and looked at their website – couldn't find the "Strat" model you're playing in lefty, only a lefty "Tele" style. Do you have a link for the one you're playing in lefty online somewhere? Thanks!

  • Interesting that it is similar weight to a Strat. The body looks thicker than a Fender Strat.

  • First of all, congratulations for hitting 140k subscribers!!???????????????? Your content keeps getting better each video! As for the Vola, I do find it a great sounding guitar with a unique/familiar vibe to it. My only complaint is the price. Me being one the most obscene Fender/Gibson fanboy, I need a guitar to hit impossibly high standards to steer me to another brand. If I feel a company can make a similar guitar with the same or superior quality, the price has to be lower than my favorite brand. That’s my silly hang up ???????????????? It’s a cool guitar and I believe anyone would be happy owning a Vola. Looking forward to more demos with this guitar Shane!! Cheers ????????????????????????????????????

  • Ok, the tone is great. The burst looks great and love that tinted maple neck. Two things that bother me about this guitar that would bug me if it were mine are #1 that headstock still looks a bottle opener or a birds beak to me. #2 the humbucker being chrome covered while the single coils are plastic triggers my ocd or something. Id either remove the chrome cover or get two silver pickup covers for the single coils. That being said, it sounds great.
