  • So full disclosure: you need to have a tele or some other guitars with more bright twangy tones…..this doesnt play well with an SG and the tones arre bassy and dark. It requires a lot of tweaking/refining to get the sweet spot…..i will need time to to get a decent distortion sound, but the ambient clean tone was instant hit!

  • I noticed these were back in stock this week and got mine today. Yes, the hype is real. I can understand why everywhere sold out of these so quickly.

  • So I got one plugged it up and thought “Shit this doesn’t sound as good as this video” then realized I’m not Dagan. DAMMIT. But I will say this thing is AMAZING. IF ONLY I HAD DAGANS DAMN FINGERS.

  • What headphones are you using for the demo? Considering picking one of the Katana Go's up and was interested in a decent set of over ears to go with it.

  • im a complete guitar beginner player, and im also a short arsed wheelchair user, full size guitars are not suitable so i decided that as im a newbie that just wants to learn and play for myself im just going to get the hofner shorty deluxe guitar, more than enough for my needs, and i was going to get the boss katana mini amp to go with it but now im wondering if this might be better for my needs.

  • Okay, so I just want to make sure. If I will pair my smartphone with Katana GO device and will play any sound source in the background (Youtube, Spotify etc.) as a back track I will hear both the sound from the Guitar/Katana GO and the back track from other source?

  • My neighbors who like my guitar playing so much threw a brick through my window so that more of the sound could get out, just bought me one.

  • What headphones is he using in this video? Is it the rolan rh5's? Also what is the best headphones for playing guitar under $50? Let me know, thank you.

  • Looks great sounds (from what I can tell from this vid) great and just might be great.
But… as usual THEY ARE NOT AVAILABLE. Every single site that they are advertised on says available on RE-ORDER only and when in they will contact you.
BAH-HUMBUG, this is just another sales tactic to boost sales!
When asked, they (guitar companies) say that they don't want to get stuck with overstock…hmmm seems reasonable,
but the truth is… they get as many anxious people as possible to pre-pay (or wait in line) for this item making you wait a month (or months…like positive grid) to receive it, thus ensuring for themselves a big payday.
SO slimy. I was in sales for years and I have seen several variations of this same tactic.
It basically creates a false sense of want and fear of not getting. Look at the great vid of this item on Sweetwater and tell me this wasn't produced to make you spend your money and drool while waiting to receive it. Yeah! Just my 2 cents worth. Peace.

  • First off awesome video and love your playing.Had it for about ten days and i honestly like the fender mustang micro better.the boss is fine and sounds great but cant really do anything without the app.i mostly play hard rock ,metal and blues(just need three presets )and the fender mustang is perfect for just plug in and play guys(fender shouldve put in a tuner like boss did)that being said if you need thirty presets and like spending hours tweaking and retweaking pedals amps and eq's then the boss katana go is for you.but for meat and potatoes players like myself(been playing since '79) go with the Vox amplug of your choice or for double the Vox price get the fender mustang micro…peace m/

  • I can't believe how inexpensive this thing is! Bought one the other day and it's brilliant. Works great into a portable amp too. I put mine through my little Blackstar 3 as an experiment and I was really impressed. I can see tis being used more than my normal amps now. Playing through headphones will keep the missus happy anyway.

  • Instead of releasing new products, I wish boss made improvement to their existing ones… The Waza AIR needs work and is the better product

  • Looks decent enough, and these modern ones are so much better than the amplugs we used to have like 20 years ago yet they still try and sell for far too much.

Trouble is I now have several of these gathering dust. Fender micro, nix, bosses core, a mooer p1 and an Ali express special I bought just to compare.

They are pretty good, but changing effects is a fiddly faff and ultimately a small multi effects like a zoom or a mooer is actually about the same price or less and just better.

Plus you can then plug those multi’s I to your amp and just not buy an extra device

  • No review on YouTube explains how you connect this device to your iPad to play along with backing tracks via headphones on YouTube as you can with the Roland Cube. Any ideas anyone?

  • Nah that’s an overpriced tamagotchi which requires additional $200 foot switch dock shi1! Every guitarist need to have at least a pod express.

  • The one thing I haven't seen anyone demo in their reviews is the expression pedal integration. Can it be used to control any built-in wah or other effects?
