Although I enjoy your channel and respect your opinion. I can’t agree with you on everything. I haven’t recorded with the tank g so I can’t comment on that but as far as clipping and the tones go I think they are awesome. Compared to your name brand pedals and modelers such as boss and digitech. I bought mine off of amazon over a year ago. I’ve had no problems with it at all. And the fact I can plug my headphones in and run blue tooth is also a plus. And it’s portable. My takeaway to you I guess would be you can’t expect axe fx quality and tone out of a $80 budget modeler. But I think it’s a pretty awesome myself.
Worse amp modelers… they all suck. Why bother? That’s right I forget it sucks carrying around all those tubes to show us now it’s easier just to carry something that you could put in your jacket I guess. I’d never do it.

I don't trust temu either I have seen other videos where people brought video game consoles and it was bad
I’ve seen a lot of reviews on the Tank G and it’s a hit or miss. Trey Shreddings did an awesome review on it, so did the Bald Shredder mate and they didn’t seem to have this kind of problem. I’m guessing that you received a dud X and it’s unfortunate that you weren’t able to do a proper demo. Sorry that you couldn’t even demo it the way others were able to because I know it would have been a great review brother. Thanks for trying X and until next time…. You might caught a faulty one. Customer service @ Temus is fantastic, just tell them and things get solved/sorted out in your favour. No big deal.

Great video and playing mate. Love your honesty here where I've heard others sing this thing's praises for some reason.
Most of the stuff from Temu is garbage. If anyone wants a multifx pedal in this style that's millions times better than this thing, then check out the Sonicake Black Hammer.
it has that nasty harsh sound that i remember from my old Pod X3.
I can’t really hear the clipping in the video
expecting too much from a super cheap unit.
Update firmware and lower the master volume (left most master knob).
You can also lower the IR volume at the app.
If the cleans sounds are not clipping it means the drive sounds can ALSO not clip. Cheers!
I have one of those, I solve the clipping problem lowing down the gain and using a drive in front of the pedal to boost it a little bit, in that way it sounds pretty good to me. Personaly I think its a really cool pedal for the price, but of course it has its cons. If you dont wanna mess with te thing and just want to sounds great without other pedals definitly you should go with something else. Nice video btw

I have the lekato version and it is the BEST version of the tank-G the only issue I have is it'll pickup the chord when Its charging.

If its clipping lower the gain or volume slightly till it stops clipping.
I got some guitar pedals that are awesome and work very well. Single effect small pedals that do one thing well for like $20-$35 – those you cant loose on.
