Last year Fender and Third Man Hardware collaborated to create a line of guitar gear that was truly unique, chief among them was the new Panoverb amp. In Fender’s long history they’ve never made an amp quite like this, and after spending a few days with Jack White’s creation, I think this is the best Fender amp ever made.

  • Rhett I’m in the market for an offset for my band that all around sounds great and can be used as a road warrior for shows, I was thinking av2 jazzmaster but after seeing your reviews on the vintera 2, and knowing you own and use it I’m now thinking about going for one, what do you think? Currently on the fender side I also have the triplecaster and a mike mccready Strat, (was a Gibson guy before that so got Les Paul, lpj and Flying V) but ya let me know your thoughts, was between a vintera2 2 jazzmaster, mustang or a av2 jazzmaster, Johnny marr jag

  • 24:47 “it has drawbacks, it’s not hand wired, it’s pcb”
    What’s the drawback? ????
Who gives a hack how it’s wired as long as it’s working properly?

  • The 90s Fender amp with the reverb tank built in was the Vibro-King,not Vibro-Sonic. Is that even a real amp? Lol. Vibro-King also had amazing tremolo and 3×10 speakers. Tilt-back legs. Sounded great at 4 or less, started to breakup by 5 and just kept going. Do a comparison of this amp and the VK!

  • RHETT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD POINT THE HUMIDIFIER AWAY DUDE.

You're spraying mist directly towards a $2500 heap of electronics..

    Incredible video otherwise 🙂 .

  • Another Fender amp that is always overlooked is the Fender Princeton Chorus (red knobs). Prob the best 50wt combo i ever owned.

  • I saw people saying this amp sounds like crap. I don't think they get it. That's Jack White's style! Nasty, dirty, etc. It looks so cool too!

  • I'm sorry, I just can't like Jack White. Just can't. Probably because of the White Stripes. It broke my idea of what a band consists of.

  • If its as heavy as my four 10 inch speaker super reverb I don’t care how good it sounds no thanks. It does sound good though.

  • Such a killer amp, no doubt, but this is overpriced by a grand at retail. 1999 would be the magic number for this amp in the long term, I can't help but feel like they are really squeezing at the price point, even if they're moving fast for now

  • I love it. Why does it have to be ludicrously huge?! They should make like 12/8 40w version for people who don't have any actual rock starring to do? Like, I haven't played a gig in 12 years, and I don't know that I EVER played one that this amp wouldn't have been complete overkill. Sorry? I want to rock… I just can't foresee a situation where I would need to use this. I'm having a hard time imagining a circumstance in which I would be ALLOWED to use it.

  • Yes! Rhett, more vidi’s like this where you take us on the creation journey. Lovely! And damn, your playing is inspired with this new lovely machine at hand!

  • Unless you're doing some kind of ambient thing, that cranked trem is something you might use on one song – in a career. It takes up too much space in a band setting. Cool as it is as a standalone, it's just not practical.
