  • I´m want to but a AMP, I´m between GTX100 and Katana 100, in GTX100 can I play in low volume like katana? which we can reduce do 0.5W, I live in an apartament, I saw that Fender has much more feature comparing Katana such as Bluetooh and Pedal sold together, in Katana we have to buy a part, but I didn´t saw nothing saying for a lower volume!!! thx…

  • I have this amp. I'm liking it more and more as I learn more about making my own presets. Downloaded Bulletproof … It kicks. Thanks. Just a very versatile amp. The Bluetooth can be tricky sometimes has a mind of its own. Other than that love it.

  • Thanks Ross, that’s some very nice stuff you’re playing. ❤ And, a nice overview of the amp!

  • Do not entertain buying a Fender GTX 100!. After about 18mths mine went dead. Out of warranty, I took it to a great Amp repairman. Fender Australia does not have spare parts. No modules no boards. The amp is now useless.

  • Is it possible to set the foot pedal so button one setting is on channel 87 and then click button 2 to go to channel 90 . Not sure if I am describing this properly but that would be very convenient to organize in my order for insong playing. Thanks

  • It's so good, when somebody who reviews the product can actually play. I saw a guy from another popular chanel just was bla-bla-bla'ing around through random number of notes (it was terrible). Thank you, it was a jem.

  • Sure maybe it's gig ready if your venue is the local bar that has a 15 body limit

  • I'm just about ready to pull the trigger on this amp and this video answered many of the questions I had, now that we can't just go to our neighborhood music store and annoy the guys working there. The biggest was 'can I use this live?' and I think this pushed me closer to my purchase choice. The mic issue isn't an issue as I mic it w/a '57 anyway. The things you didn't like about it are not a problem for me as I'm just an old-school player that doesn't want to work out just to get my rig on stage. 22 lbs is perfect for this old dude's back! Thank you for the in-depth review. I'm subscribing!

  • Very well ' done presentation and I believe you convinced me to get the GTX100. Thanx very much!

  • This is unrelated, but I instantly subscribed when I heard you play those LEGIT traditional jazz lines at 2:38. Other music gear reviewers trying to do this sound mediocre at best.

  • A way around the lag of playing music or jam tracks, play along lessons ect. Play the audio from you phone or tablet through the Auxiliary input so it’s a direct signal from your device

  • Best review of the GTX100…I just got mine and at 74 years of age (still playing) just need to get up to speed with the technology. (Current amp is Fender Champion 100)
Please can you tell me what the setting are for the demo at 4 minutes 20 seconds please…country with a compressor?

Absolutely love it…would love to be able to use that sound or even patch if available please.

    Thank you very much

  • The issue I have with this amp is that you Cannot use the Bluetooth unless you have downloaded Fenders App…..So I cannot just play backing tracks from my IPad to this amp and play along to them on any other amp…
