I got a jackson js22 7 string i wanna beef up and make it a sunburst purple hopefully ill get to do one day.
That’s awesome. I don’t have my first guitar (didn’t like it much) but I do have my 2nd one. Put it on layaway at guitar center in like 2001. Still love that guitar. Jackson dxmg (or maybe dkmg?) Can’t remember the exact model.
NGL it would be pretty funny if it was a fake cuz that would mean someone tried to fake a squier

My first guitar was a cheap Washburn. I don’t regret selling that. But I do regret my second guitar (first guitar bought with money from first job) it was an Epiphone Les Paul Plus Top Pro (2014 I think). Paid like $500 for it and sold it for $150 a couple years later. I still regret selling it.

First guitar always has its special space in all guitarists heart, because it was the one which given us all the emotions, like satisfaction, rage, fun, happiness….

the Asians build fenders better than fender does!
I've been playing my fender squire, for thirty years.
It now has, a friction-free roller nut. Fender custom Shop, locking tuners. An EMG, Lamb of God humbucker. And a Seymour Duncan dimebucker. With upgrades to the volume and tone pots. And I solved the fender Stratocaster buzz. By doubling the gauge of the wire, to the ground.
That guitar is the only thing that has been consistent my entire life. It is my best friend. My worst enemy. And I wouldn't know what to do, without it.

I have an ibanez iron label 8 string and god do i hate the emg pickups, might someday put some lundgrens or something on it but idk
I have a swamp ash strat, maple and Pau ferro neck, locking tuners, graphtech nut and trees, G&L ptb tone, solid steel 2 point trem and block with A5 and A2 pups

Genuine question. How can your painted black guitar body look suspiciously like any particular wood if its just gloss black finish?
I wish I still had my 1st guitar. It was a Jackson/(back when Charvel was using Jackson style font for their name) Charvel Dinky Reverse from a pawn shop back in 97. I saved every penny for that. I owned it for about a month or so, and it got stolen
