  • At the time I watched this I was already considering one and I was trying to be cautiously optimistic.
It arrived today and I am absolutely amazed. The intonation is spot on, the tuners are solid and the guitar is
gorgeous. I play a Taylor 614CE every day and have for years, so I was ready for a let down with the Bromo.
No, it's not a Taylor, it is different but, the sound, playability and finish are out of this world.
For a low end guitar like this to show up and out of the box play like a dream without a setup is hard to believe and I love it!
Thank you for the awesome demo!

  • Nice work my friend and cool budget guitar that sounds great not what I would have expects from a low cost guitar it’s worthy of backing up my more expensive Taylor

  • Nice song of yours Lester. The guitar is indeed a beautiful instrument. But seems a bit weak in the base, to my ear. The mid and trebble range seems to be best feature. That's obviously just my personal viewpoint. Nice guitar and some sweet playing

  • I bought one of these very guitars, and at the best, the quality must be ver uneven. The ebony lams on the neck were very visibly off center.Like half an inch. The neck was terribly cone, and badly fretted. In fact, almost impossible to fix with a new fret job. I wish I had just bought a stick of firewood. It would have, at least, taken the chill off in this frosty winter. In short, be prepared to send it back as soon as possible. I wish I had. It sucks.

  • Just ordered one today but with spruce top. It’s the only one I could find in lefty..
But now hearing that tone I kinda wish I looked harder for the mahogany top.

  • Sounds good. Do you have by chance any experience with the Bromo BAR5CE? That guitar also has solid wood on the sides and back and seems really affordable for what it has to offer. Sounds like it might be too good to be true?

  • i do wish these people reviewing guitars would mention whether the guitar has a solid back and sides. Just saying mahogany back and sides could also mean mahogany laminates. I guess for this low price budget guitar the back and sides is laminated.

  • Hello and thanks for the review. How do I order a Bromo ? Their homepage does not seem to have a purchase prompt or pricing. Thanks again.

  • legend, thanks for that demo! just out of curiosity, not sure if my ears are deceiving me but is there a small bit of clipping while you're noodling? if i'm not mistaken in what i'm hearing, is that the guitar or processing applied to the signal? looking for a new acoustic and this does look like a very good option, not sure if the recording was just a bit hot perhaps?

  • Hello, I'm from the Philippines and right now I am torn in between choosing a Phoebus PG20 NCE guitar and a Bromo BAT2M Tahoma. What would you recommend between these two? I love to try then with my hands, but my current situation only allows me to buy online

  • Say Lester were you using any effects on your original song? The song sounded fantastic.I bought the BAT1 what do you personally think of it? At the price point of the BAT1 they can't possibly mean the top is Sitka Spruce they mean Sitka Spruce laminate right? I'm talking about the one that's 179.00 US. Thanks for your time. I really enjoy your playing.

  • I looked at their site, they have some awesome guitars! and also a wooden guitar stand that is built like a tank.
I have to get me one of their high end models with no plastic.

I loved the sound you got out of that instrument, it was a well balanced tone.

  • Sounds good as my 500$+ ibanez exotic wood almost identical model????…slightly better! Great guitar❤

  • That is a gorgous acustic guitar, in terms of sound as well as looks. That vulcano peak headstock is a nice detail. Awesome playing as usual, the noodling and the original Song. Greetings from Lotasticland

  • That was a great video and product demonstration. In terms of showcasing a low budget instrument you really went the extra mile (if not more). I am impressed by the guitar as well as your musicianship. Kudos, good Sir, and keep up the good work.

  • I'm a sucker for satin finishes. That mahogany is gorgeous, and the volcano peak logo and inlays are cool. Definitely looks like a great value for $270. I really like that "open end" cutaway too.

Nice noodling, Lester, and even better original song!
