  • This is the second short I’ve seen about how much you like this Strat. So WHAT MODEL IS IT , then?

  • I saw ONE short from this dude a couple years ago that I gave a like to. Now my algorithm is flooded with this dude having garbage takes and stating the obvious: "ah yes, the floor is made of floor"

  • Rhett has an amazing ability to make expensive equipment sound extremely mediocre

  • What's with this comment section? Sure this is super obvious for 99% of guitarists, but there's people who don't know yet and this is very clear and informative for them. I know I have a bunch of classical guitar students who are also interested in electric or play it already, but would still benefit from clear, concise basics info like this. So good job Rhett (even though you prefer Gibson over PRS which makes me question your judgement in everything else haha).

Also, can we just stop and appreciate what a sweet sounding strat that is, especially in the middle position. Imo most strats sound at least decent and like a strat is supposed to in bridge, neck and the in-between positions. But it takes some above-average pickups to sound that sweet in the middle position.

  • When fender would come out with a new guitar back when I was in high school, they would actually give various bands a new fender…that was their advertisement ! That was In SoCal… where most bands back then were surf bands…

  • My Riggio custom is wired for the middle position is all 3 pickups and it’s such a killer option for strats.

  • …and what's uncool about a Strat is that it almost never stays in tune for more than a few minutes. ????

I dig the Strat sound though, it is already part of world cultural heritage.
