The Yamaha FSX3 is a smaller body folk acoustic guitar with a big sound.
The FSX3 features a solid spruce top for exceptional sound projection and resonance. Its mahogany back and sides contribute to a warm and well-balanced tone. With its compact body design, this guitar offers excellent projection and a dynamic range. Plug into the Atmosfeel 3 way pickup system for the best onstage sound I have ever had.

  • Sounds great. The guitar as well. Yamahas don't get enough respect. Some Yamaha models are really, really good.
I was guilty of not thinking of Yamaha for great acoustics. Even though I love their keyboards- my main axe is a P115. And even though I have a Yamaha Pacifica. And even though everything they make is generally excellent.

  • Notice the red label. All Yamaha red labels are worth the buy. You don't even have to know the models, just look for a red label and you'll know it's a great guitar.

  • Thanks for the video. I agree that is a great sound.
My older Yamaha's neck is twisting up on the high E
string side and buzzes where the neck joins the body.
My luthier said it is not repairable and called my guitar the best sounding camp fire guitar in all of MT. I will make the FSX3 my next guitar. What sound system were you using in the video? And what were those sounds you were playing? Would love to know. Thanks.

  • This was a great show!! Ive had Yamaha guitars 4 of them, motorcycles 3 of them, off road 3and 4 wheelers 3 of them, and other electronics. None have ever let me down. That's saying alot!! Thanks for this review. I'm looking for a new guitar for bluegrass and country. The new Yamahas just makes be what im looking for.
Please put more of your stage time playing for us. I love hearing you play live. Thanks again.
