I have been looking at the newer Tokai PB '51s. They look and sound great. I have a couple of Tokai Jazzes and they're super.
I bought the J Bass version, I didn't like the very pale neck on yours. Sounds nice though. The J Bass has a more yellowy neck and headstock. Thanks for the vid !

Are these made in Japan? The Legacy ’51 PB weighs about 3.6 kg (8 lbs.), which should be pleasantly light.

Tokai seems to be a nice brand. I only tried some of those LP style guitars which are too heavy for me. I'll try one of those basses as soon as possible.
