  • I would never get another Lava guitar. I have a lava 2 which is useless because the battery ceased to work and it cannot be replaced except by some serious dismantling and/or sending it to the manufacturer/retailer. This is the worst piece of design I have seen since I was responsible for assessing the very first microcomputers arriving in the UK many years ago. Crap! Never again.

  • I bought 2 of these 5 this year (sounds a bit gross!), the Taylor GS Mini (Koa) and the Cordoba Stage. The Taylor does what you might expect and looks gorgeous (in Koa). The Cordoba Stage is simply WOW! I considered the Ibanez TOD10N but after watching many reviews the Cordoba Stage always sounded better and now I have it it's amazing. The build quality of the Cordoba is superb, I just love, love, love it!

  • Hey guys – between the Cordoba and the Tim Henson models, can you help me understand the differences? I demoed both and found the Tim Henson a bit more comfortable, with noticeably less finger noise compared to the Cordoba. The noise on the Cordoba felt a bit excessive, especially since it would probably be even more noticeable when amplified. Any idea if this could be due to the fretboard design, action height, or maybe even just the string choice?

  • Would love for you guys to do a direct comparison of nylon electrics like the TOD10N, Cordoba Stage, Godin Multiac and so on.

  • Does that Cordoba feature fine Corinthian leather upholstery & a hemispherical combustion V-8 engine ?

  • Cordoba sounds good, amazing for this type of body.
I don't understand why the Tim Henson's has success. He plays great but this guitar sounds really bad compared to the others. Fender did a copy of this flat acoustic and it just sound like a bad toy ????

  • I would definitely go for the Cordoba, sounds fantastic through monitor headphones! Like the look and colour of it too!
