  • The code series all deliver such great tone. I run mine through a direct input box and the tracks always scream marshall. I can't believe digital can sound this close to tube amps without all the insane power use and no blown tubes. No temperaments valves . They boot up in like thirty seconds and have USB outputs. great deal for the money. Well thought out controls and great classic tones . I sound like a commercial. They just sound that good in production use and are great for playing gigs as well .

  • OK but in this case what is the best modeling amp ? I tried the Fender mustang LT 25 but it's a piece of shit too

I was used to the Roland micro cube for many years which was not excellent but very good I keep a very good memory of it

  • I have a "Code 100" 212 and it's a very usable amp but the presets are a waste. I don't know what they were smoking when they were set up, but they're unusable. You've gotta ignore them and start from scratch, and use the "gateway" app on your phone. Makes it the whole experience much easier. ✌️??

  • Not a bad review, BUT what about controls? Some of us may want to use amps live, and you failed to mention footswitches, control capabilities etc. Serious fail, in my opinion.

  • Can you use any of these modeling amps with a bass? If not, what modeling amps are there for bass guitar? When I googled it, all that came up was the Peavey.

  • Great overview, the Marshall, VOX and THRIOC ROCK… I’m gonna checkout the Line 6 video , I like the idea of the direct non processed sound, to run simulations like BIAS FX through.

  • With a digital amp, you’re always inducing a little bit of latency. No matter how tight you play, you are always behind the beat in the mix. I don’t care how short the latency is, you feel it in the mix

  • The yamaha THR's are Next generation amps, they are 20 years ahead of their time! These things sound like you are hooked to a stack and have all the best effect pedals hooked in! Crazy how good they are! Not to mention they are METAL, built like TANKS!
