Wow, is this an exceptionally bright guitar, or what?
I know the spruce is a huge factor, but is the ebony back and sides and maple neck contributing to that exception, or might something about the construction (not materials) be more of a factor?
Also, when i see "sapwood" listed for this number 389, is that like a veneer on the back and sides for aesthetic reasons? Does it affect the sound?
And finally, what if it were a double top, how would it sound then?
