I tested the spark cab out with a few different sources – small analog amp (non-powered), digital pedalboard, and of course spark amps. This cab is a really great piece of gear!

Enjoy!
❤. Greta video Darrell. I bought the Spark II last year. I added two speaker jacks and built a 2×10" cabinet for it. Also positive grid sent an update for the 2 line outs. Now speakers can be heard when connecting line outs.

Is the sound quality good
Can you connect a mixer to this with a microphone so when you’re play the guitar you can sing at the same time
Does it omit the speaker already on the 40? Or do they both produce sound
When plugged into cab?
Thanks
But it cuts the spark speakers out. and the spark speakers sound better but the speakers to small
where do you plug the cab into on the Spark 40? There is no output. Does it go in the headphone jack?
Wouldn’t this work with any amp with a 3.5 jack?
I plug the spark into my valve amp way better. That wsy u using valves as well
They couldn't of found a more cheaper chorus. This amp totally over rated
Bummed no Bluetooth
Speakers to small
damn this is a dream. i do wish it had a second line out!
All you have to do is mick everything and you could play almost anywhere. Keep rocking
Can I use any head for this cab?
Does it amplify the audio when playing music as well
How is this different from just plugging your Spark Go into a regular PA speaker?
I have a CAB and found I would like a handle on the top as well as the sides. I just installed it today. A flat Fender type carrying handle/strap and it works great. It's a nice upgrade.
Sorry I was expecting to show us the output of the spark 40 I can only see Aux and headphone output so what the output are you using ? Can I plug it into the PA system ?
Thanks
Why or when became „tuning an instrument“ out of fashion ? Tell me !
Be better if they did it in pearl to match the amp
I really would like to combine it with its own speakers! Will that be possible in the future?
Nice clean tones
can you put your katana mkII head in the cab?
สวัสดี ????????????????????❤
Notice Darrell is not addressing the noise issues. You got to ask why.
no fuzzy feadback for anyone with these amps?
Thank you Darrell, for reviewing stuff! I rely on you and others like you to review gear. This helps me to make buying decisions. Ignore the bawlers who complain that you provide this VALUABLE service!!
a docking station for an amp – that's bloody brilliant
Could this be used with something like a Fractal Axe or Kemper type amp too?
The Spark cab is suited, IMHO, for stage volume…get it mounted at ear level and ur gold. Not to mention the Spark can just go straight to FOH and monitor mix .. this amp was more than ready to gig even w/o the cab.
Does it work with bass ?
Does it work with other amps outside of the spark series?
They made a major mistake by not having a battery option on the cab…
I know this has probably been said before but 2 features I wish Positive Grid would add to their Spark application is being able to use different types of speakers/cabinets within the app itself since they have already came out with this new speaker cabinet and also adding the BIAS FX/BIAS Amp 2 into the app like they have before in their previous apps but maybe they will in the near future. I don’t see any reason why they shouldn’t add those features to the Spark amp since this new cabinet has came out unless I’m missing something lol but who knows, time will tell.
Recently got the Spark 40 and love it! Great for both guitar and bass, great for both home practice and small practice sessions with friends. It wouldn't keep up with a drummer though (especially when I'm playing bass), so I'm considering eventually buying the Cab for it (there's no big hurry though as I don't currently have any gigs). Hoping they eventually make the Cab in white/pearl too, as my Spark 40 is white, it would look perfect!
While using the sparks 40 with the cab, does the out put speakers still work on the 40?
Still bummed that none of the Sparks have a built in looper feature
I’m glad you did this video. It helps me in making an informed purchase.
This thing is complete junk! The noise floor is horrible. I havent even played it, I turned it on with nothing plugged in and the noise is not acceptable. A loud, low hiss that should not be there. They call it normal, I call BS.
