Hey Daric, I know this is late as late gets, but what model Jaguar is that? It sounds PHHHHATTTT.
Hey bro.. I don't know what to say.. Hey you are the bestttttttttttt.. Thank you so much. You have added beauty to my basslife. Your life is beautiful sir… Smiling cont'd…
You are the besttttttttt
Can you explain how the chords are made and why those are chosen afterwards
Hey Daric , how many scales are there , how many I need 2learn
I'm sure you know this, but that thing that you said about getting the "essence" of Locrian can be done with every mode. Every mode has one particular chord that no other mode in that diatonic scale can play, and they all possess the tritone. For example, G Ionian's "essence" chord would be Gmaj7add11, made up of G, C, and F#. Dorian's would, also in G Ionian, be Am13, made of A, C, and F#. You also got the Mixolydian "essence" chord with the dominant 7. It's just the root note, plus the tritone. I know this may be obvious to some people, but I have found it to be a good way to really juice the modes, and get a lot of unique color out of them. It also helps keep modal mixture as simple as possible. I love your channel by the way, thanks for all the videos!
This is great stuff.. You put in such easy terms. No thank you.. LOL. Havenβt played for about a year and a half. Now with more time on my hands Iβm just having so much fun with these practice videos.
Holy Syettttt…………..
Thank You π
Can you do a shout and runs
I want to thank you for your videos. I have been watching various bass channels and how you explain it makes sense to me. Planning on joining your online course after taxes. But keep this up. I really appreciate what you have taught me already.
On the chords that is….W. Charles
So Daric, instead of the 1,3,5.7 of the modes, you're playing the 1,3,7 of the modes in this exercise.. Tks Charles
Please exercise legato tekhnik.. ????
Thanks for your videos, I have been progressing so fast with your teaching. I'm self taught bass player for 20+ years and now with the help of your videos I'm finally putting sence to everything that I have in my brain… keep up the excellent work. Once again thank you
Very nice leson to find myself in music. Just looking for this. Now give me lots of confidence. Thanks. Keep doing this man. Helps a lot…
Great stuff, I'm gonna start implementing that now because that would be very useful!
With your easy to follow lesson and explanation I now understand why, when and how to use these different modes. Wow what a revelation …… Thanks a lot!!!!
Very nice, but it's kind of hard to track your fingers as you run them. Maybe a table or a visual reference? Thanks π
is this the right place for a 14 year old beginner
Great ???? great ???? approach to practice so useful
I'm a new player a little bit familiar with the bass but looking to start from the ground up focusing on the basics. Does your website cater to players at the extreme beginner level?
Would you recommend doing this in all 12 keys as well?
My main problem will be, that to play the chords right after the scale, I have to struggle that much to put my fingers on the right spots on the fretboard, that my brain will have all time in the world to move on π
Anyway, I like your way to explain things, keep on with it!
Daric Sorry for my bad eng….Why You Put the 7th in the Chord? For Example…C…C E and B…So it's a C7 or Cmaj7? For The "Normal" C…D…Etc…The Chord it's…? Always C E B…or…C E G? help ????
Great…I Want To Study/Understand the Chords ???? (Sorry For My Bad English…) Greetings From Italy
For a self tought (hobby) musician, now trying to grasp with basic musical "lingo", your channel was a revelation. You get to the core of things and explain it with clarity. I've seen many of your videos and all of them really helped me to (finally) understand modes and practical use for them. Also some of your practicing tips made noticeable improvment in my playing.
Thank you, for your effort. π
yeah! i really like this lesson/exercise, i will try and use it when writing new riffs
I knew that activating notifications for your channel was a good choice! Love your videos! Thanks bass bro!
