Darrell, Sire S5 or Cort g280 select ? I unfortunately can’t try them.
Everything Larry Sire is putting out in his company is really great instruments. I hear the 335 style is one of the nicest bargain guitars available. He plays them out on the road so that should tell you they are top notch for the price. You won't sound like Larry Sire unless you're Larry Sire…It's all within the person who is playing the guitar…The fingers, the brain and the soul….along with the ear. You gotta listen to music if you want to improve and you gotta have the right practice routine…Gotta put the time in…If it was easy everyone would sound great. I can trick a lot people into making them think I'm a good guitar player, until I run into a guitar player…A big difference playing guitar and guitar player…I wouldn't make a pimple on a guitar players butt cheek.

I live in Florida USA and it's nearly impossible to come across a Sire guitar! It sure isn't available in any guitar shops I've been to.

there is a guy that does a shallow rout on the back and the spring plate is flush with the body and looks amazing and feels great, give it a try
Love everything about that Sire but the headstock. Not a deal-breaker, but wish it was a tad nicer.

Is the trem wobbly like a fender screw-in trem without the tension spring?
Wish it had a nicer headstock. But offcourse that would ask for too much.

The best budget strat I've experienced is the glarry gst…lots of cool color options too…I got the red and black one and with the locking tuners on it I love this thing…
Wow! This is a $399 guitar. Sounds just as good as my USA Fenders. Gonna play it.
Please Darrell give me your thoughts on my guitar because i own a genuine Fender MIM Stratocaster and it weighs 8.2 pounds. I never played a Stratocaster as heavy as mine. Is it ok to play an 8 lb. Stratocaster? By the way my guitar was made in 2013

Hey Darrell I love your channel.. I have been saving up for either a Sire 3 or Sire 7… But I have to admit the S3 sounds good and you can’t beat the price… So what do you think? Should I continue saving for a Sire 7 or would I be happy with an S3? Not that it matters since in most places the Sires are on back order????

Hi Darrell, After watching your videos especially on the S3 I decided to buy it today. I did notice that it was the last one available and the specs said it weighs 10 pounds. Is that a typical weight for a mahogany guitar? I know it will sound great but I’m just wondering, is that an extreme weight or do you think they may have made a mistake on the Sweetwater specs?
Can you make a video with comparing this one with Squier Classic Vibe, please??? I need to know which is better but in every aspect – not just overall.
I forgot to mention, the only con is that headstock shape. Why the heck use an uuugly shape on a gorgeous guitar? Oh well you don’t notice so much if you’re playing.
Great review I’m going to have to purchase one of these soon. I was toying with a parts caster or upgrading a Firefly, but this is already together and is very close to what I would have had. I want the three single coil version but the review had everything I wanted to know except the bridge pickup. Great job Darrell! Thanks!

Sure sounds like strat to me, then heavier pickup click on lead. I had one years ago for when my main guitar wyent down never let me down
