Unboxing the Cheapest Bass from Reverb.com [Glarry GP Review]
I was curious about the Glarry GP because it is the most inexpensive new bass available from Reverb. At the time of this posting, they’re selling for about $90. I had pretty low expectations, but was pleasantly surprised. I purchases this with my own money, it was not sent to me for review purposes.

I have one of these. I may replace the pick guard as I had a good deal for 10 £ for a pick guard, complete with pickups and dials. All wired up too. Certainly replaced the case ! Even though the bass was inexpensive. Neck was oiled. Strings to be replaced Ernie ball slinky. I know this seems a bit much but it beats trying to make your own bass.
I bought the upgraded version and it’s very nice
I love my Yellow Glarry GP, such a pleasing color to the eye. Like a classic Mini cooper or VW bug
I hope you put some oil on the neck. I think they actually have a finish on them but it's really thin. Thin enough that I got a splinter from one of their guitars necks.
Nice review.
Wow it did sound so much better with your tweaks. So awesome that you know just what to do
Great review and I love your slap technique you play very well !!
This was a lot of fun! I was the bassist for the jazz band in high school and this made me feel so nostalgic – I should dig it out and play around. Thank you!
Good review, Kale.
Thank you it’s my sons birthday next week so guess what he’s getting now? ????????
????
Night and day difference.
I’ve been checking pawn shops for a beat up bass to strip down and use the parts for my own build. For $90 this might work out.
Nice review! A decent setup definitely makes a world of difference!
