  • Jimi never lost his fire…his playing improved year to year…he never lost the ability to communicate…witness interviews in 1970 year of his death….made a lot more sense than ted the nobody crappy ain't original or anything close to Hendrix with his stupid songs like wango the tango and fag bash fever…ted sucks

  • So why did he sing about being high if he didn’t get high? Misappropriating a lifestyle to sell records?

  • Did Jimi actually lost his musical fire in 1969? Not sure if I agree with that.

  • Ted Nudgent is on drugs already to begin with. If not… imagine if this crazy asshole’s overall character is under the influence. Yeah.

  • "I need help bad, man." Jimi on the phone to Eric Burdon on the morning he died. Burdon had to beg and threaten Monica Danneman to call an ambulance. When the ambulance arrived Danneman was nowhere to be found. I think she spiked his food and killed him because of jealousy over other women.
Read Wikipedia article on Jimi's death. Monica Danneman comes off suspicious as hell.

  • Every single person I knew that used needles is dead, all but 1. Ted rocks hard and puts on a great show. Seen him live 3 times.

  • Sober people can be a-holes too. And addicts can be great people. Sobriety is a good thing. But it doesn't necessarily mean you are a good person. Ted is an ass.

  • Just more of teds sensational lies. Jimi was never like this nut job Nugent is saying (slandering) Jimi.
Mr Sensationalism Teddy can’t stand the fact that Jimi is considered the undisputed world wide number one Rock & Blues guitarist of the twentieth century. Idiot

  • IMO people NEED to drink to have fun, and they NEED to do drugs to have fun, I don't NEED liquid dope aka alcohol or drugs to have fun, 1 mO time I don't NEED it, you do lol not me, I can have fun without all that. How? well I have a sense of humor, I've been surfing for 50 years and snowboarding for 25, I'm a photographer and I've been playing the drums for 48 years, I call them disciplines, they are tough but man the results are better than any buzz that lasts 45 minutes that you pay for 24 hours, then your too lazy to do the shat I just mentioned, peace

  • Ya addiction is a M—F ER! half my life clean and sober! Half messed up. All that crap was not even worth it ! Waste of time. Love Ted's humor " would you like a bite of my broken glass sandwhich?? Ha! Well, now that you put it THAT WAY! IS THERE any way i could get you to stop eating broken glass sandwinches. ??? Well , i found out after going to the doctors. I had some very serious medical problems, the doctor told me: if you stop eating broken glass sandwinches, your gums will stop bleefing and your teeth will stop falling out !! Went home looked in mirror, said to myself, " no way, man ! I knew i had to stop eating broken glass sandwiches!! Didnt know how that was gonna happen. Been going to B.G.S.Anonymous ever since !!

  • Ted is so lucky to be so perfect. Maybe he should have tried some, he could have wrote some better music.

  • For Ted to be immersed in that culture at that time and not get pulled into the drug scene is just amazing. That same spirit of individuality is what has allowed him to speak his truth with such fire all these years. Rock on Ted.

  • So sad. That’s a good way to look at it. I mean you can’t honestly deny that it can be helpful for musicians but it’s dangerous, different batches can be way stronger or weaker, once it’s a habit, you must have it every day, it’s illegal. Did I say dangerous? I’ll say it twice, lol. I’ve lost too many friends, my brother too, I seem to lose another friend every few months and it’s been like this for 25 years. I have trouble quitting myself so I’m on methadone and have a counselor at the methadone clinic. At least methadone is legal. I wish everyone luck getting clean, it seems the nicest, most loving people get hooked the easiest.
