  • To me it doesn't matter just make music you think people care what you use and all the others producers stop hating on people using it and it's only a tool and you can make your own patterns you dont have to use the A.i generator if they get a hit you would you it also.

  • This plug-in is USELESS. I was excited to try it and returned it within 48hours! It seems great in theory so the only way to know how bad it is may be to try it ????‍♂️????

  • hi do it create ulimited basslines or is there just a few patterns in it ? why some people say its ai and some not?

  • Seems like a useful vst but its at a crazy price. P. S Its hard to hear anything on a phone when you choose the trap genre as its so quiet and basic. House or drum and bass would have been better.

  • Melodics and Unison Bass Dragon aren't really comparable, Melodics is music lessons for pads, electronic drums and keys and it will build your skills and the mistakes you make through physically playing can inspire you to build on the patterns you learn to make your music more creative and you could take a little inspiration from multiple patterns to create your own unique patterns and it will help you improve your timing on and off beat.
Every bassline Bass Dragon generates is very basic and inhuman, your basslines will lack originality because the odds of two different users getting the same pattern is very high because of how basic the basslines are, like a combination lock, less digits means it's easier to crack.
With the amount of editing you'd have to do to make it a good pattern and not sound hollow or soulless you may as well use scaler 2 or captain plugins for a much lower price with more features and better patterns if you insist on being a lazy beginner or learn to improve your basslines, this isn't a biased opinion, it's only an objective analysis with sound advice before any Sep D riders come at me with their overpriced Unison pitchforks.

  • I can do this with Hexachords Orb, 808 Studio or Audiomodern's stuff. They all have sequencers for bass. Waste of money. Yeah I'm biased.

  • I appreciate this review. I was glad I was able to look at a non biased review. It's either a person is sponsored so they gonna overhype the product or the other extreme where they trash it which seems like the most common one. Yes I understand there are products that can do similar or maybe more like a whole DAW. That's is like someone complaining about a person deciding to go to a steakhouse to enjoy food when they can get a 2 for 20 at Applebees. I just wanting to know is the steakhouse food good lol. So I was able to see the functionality of the product and see if it is useful. Thanks for the solid review.

  • Jay, what are your thoughts on Unison attacking negative review videos with copyright strike takedowns? Care to share with your viewers?

  • Hey man appreciate you i was looking into this since i started producing and doing it myself is aigh I'm new I'm getting a grid also watching videos but aye yo watching this you had me at your theory of the software before you even said it i thought about it and is use the software to learn yourself you don't need to use it if you don't want to but you can have a path drawn by it and you can go from there if your struggling with an idea also like you said it helps you finger drum or whatever you playing if you using a Midi or just a keyboard so you got a new sub bruh ????

  • 'AI' is this years marketing term . . . kids, there's no such thing, no one has invented AI, there's not even a consensus within the research field as to whether it will ever be possible, Unison didn't write an AI, they wrote some basic algorhthmic code, who even needs AI (if it even existed) to randomly generate some bass lines ? You can do it with basic code.

  • What you said makes sense I’ve been saying these ai plugins are just tools that helps with writers block

  • Lmao???????????? your dragon must be drunk or smoked some cheap drugs, cause it gave you twice the wrong scale. On top of that, you said one can take your time…. Isn't the point of bd to save time?

  • Thanks for making this video. Which method of writing a bassline do you prefer? Bass Dragon in a DAW or Pad perform on MPC?

  • I'm no hater, I have My thoughts and opinions on Unison but I'll just mention a cupple of points 1 Seph said there is no other plugin like this that generates basslines. This is not true there are sevraul including My DAW of Choice Reason, which has a device called Bassline Generater and can do everything Bass Dragon does and more. Reasons bassline generater is a exter cost off $80 on ontop of the $400 Daw and plungin but I think you get way more with Reason Studios for $500 then Unison.

  • Unison Audio…back at it again marketing their generic, overpriced, preset-plug-ins to newbies looking for a shortcut for that, “pro-level” sound.
Duuuude you didnt actually just say, “It’s so cRaZy they even include the effects…” Like that’s groundbreaking. EVERY plug-in does that. ???? How much is Unison paying you to sound like a commercial? ????
If Unison had a free trial, I might cut them some slack, but they don’t.
If Unison didn’t attack legitimate, informative negative reviews with bogus copyright strike takedowns, I might cut them some slack, but they have and they do.
If Unison’s garbage cost $25 I might cut them some slack but it costs hundred$.
Unison is a corrupt company that preys on the gullibility of newbies.
