Don’t know what I’m doing wrong with this pedal but I make 4 presets and save them in the white bank but then I decide to change a few parameters so come out of preset mode to change parameters, re save everything then when I press the 2 buttons to go back to preset mode everything is gone and every preset on all banks is just a clean sound with no effects and completely lost all my saved sounds. This has happened a few times now and it’s making me want to return the pedal. Anyone else having problems?
Presets 1-7 (white bank) are programmed from the factory and feature each of the included amps. Presets 8-14 (yellow bank) and 15-21 (purple bank) and just empty slots.
Thanks for the run through of POD Express. Senior here living in a tiny room, gave up most of my gear years ago and just staying small now with Bias/DAW and other small gear. I want a little fx/amp pedal and looper with real knobs that can give me some tones I can record direct, cheap. This POD Express with HX sims fits the bill and seems a cut above the NUX and Mooer offerings. IR-2 amps with Celestion IRs sound really great but it's for people who have pedal boards. I'd need looper pedal, delay pedal etc and a pedal board and have no room anymore.
The IR2 still murders it hands down, it has a better sample and playback rate, it's robust and just sounds better and can take IR'S …this Pod can't and it's effects are cheese quality.
Great job dude! I was looking at the HX Stomp, but this little unit looks great. I might unload my H9 Max and downsize a bit. Thanks for the look into this little unit. We have come a long ways since the kidney bean POD. haha.
I was curious how the distortion sounds are compared to that Lion UAD pedal you have laying underneath the pod?
You tried changed cabs on any of the stock amp models?
