  • Please mount the power supply under the unit. Power Train & Voodoo Labs designed it that way. I like your channel, keep rocking! m/.

  • The problem with eq pedals is they will cause you to be fussy. Sounds strange, but true.

  • I highly recommend swapping the CS-3 for the coveted CS-2 from Japan. You can get some great condition pedals from EBay (just make sure it’s from Japan). Mine is from 1983 and it really smoothed out my tone. There is a noticeable difference between the CS-2 vs the CS-3 due to the unmatched electronics that they don’t use any more. Trust me…you won’t regret it! ????????‼️

  • Like craig said: mount the power supply underneath, to get room for something like a Boss CH-1 (amazing chorus) and a mxr phaser (the orange one). I use the mxr octaves deluxe, since I also felt that the ebs octaver kinda ruined my whole setup.
Someone mentioned funky stuff: synth bass and/or envelope filters could be fun at occasion…

  • The brown boss ovtave pedal or I have the c4 synth it has filter envelope and ovtave effects so I’m using it as my synth my ovtave and my envelope filter

  • Or go classic and get a uni vibe … i am not sure if it is a usual bass pedal but it goes beautyfull with your fuzz. Hurray

  • That is a pedal where i didn t have easy access to : seamoon funk machine. I wish i could just get it every where in germany. But you can t. Maybe you have easyer access. So you could give it a try. I would . I just saw reviews and heard it just on cheap head phones. But it make me curiose. Have a ton of fun.

  • Hey ho. Like your content. One question is the boss compressor a good choise 4 bass? Are u happy with it? I can say that the boss bass eq is a nice eq. It is a classic. I would try a synth pedal instead the chorus. What is with a auto wah or a phaser? Good on you and njoy bass.

  • If you're looking for another Octave pedal, try out the Boss OC-5. If you're looking for something different, maybe a chorus or flanger would be good on your board.

  • Check out the Darkglass B7K Ultra. It has the EQ and DI output as well it could supply your distortion. It could potentially replace your DI and Big Muff, easily freeing up a bunch of space.

  • Earthquaker Devices Organizer is my octave pedal of choice, has a chorusy sound to it. As for straight up chorus, Ibanez makes some great ones. Just ask the folks at your music store and they can help you find the best model for you

  • I only have 3 pedals on my Pedaltrain mini board these days. Just a Korg tuner pedal, Big Muff bass, and a MXR micro Chorus. Its all I need to rock!

  • Also, you can buy mounting brackets for the power supply to mount underneath the pedal train boards. You'd def have to order those from sweetwater or something though.

  • The electroharmonix pog tracks extremely well on bass if you want to try another octave pedal. I have thier bass clone chorus on my board too. It sounds great and is super inexpensive. You should also check out flat patch cables, they can save even more space. Also, you could check out the bass big muff deluxe as it has a built in noise gate so you could save some more room plus it has high and low pass filters for more tone shaping.
