Nice walk-through! Very hard to get a preview of all these sounds without buying one! Great job in helping people understand what they are getting, and nobody else has done that with this amp! I bought four of these back in the day to give to my sons and friends for use as practice amps. I like these!
Thanks!! Saludos desde Argentina.
Whats the line/phone input is that literally for a phone lmao
only thing that VOX keep on disappointing me is not having a way to add both
REVERB AND DELAY at the same time
but still i got a lot of appreciations for several of the VOX amps
I love how you pronounce nu metal. Am gonna say it like that from now on.
every time I turn the edit button, it just makes buzzing sounds, do you know how to prevent that?
Great!
Dang, I will have to dig out my Vox.
I learned alot thanks. ????
Why are there multiple amps on this amp?
Momma always said you can tell a lot about a person by their shoes
Excellent demo video. In fact, one of the best I've ever seen. Too many demo videos are just an excuse for a guitarist to show off his playing skills without really describing and demonstrating the amp. But I do have one question. If I use the line out feature to go into either a bigger amp, a recording console, or a mixer, does the amp's speaker stay on or not? Currently, I play through a 15 watt Marshall combo with a Shure SM-57 in front of the speaker going into the PA. I face the amp towards me on a stand and use it as my monitor. I just bought a Vox AD30VT to replace the Marshall. Do I still need to use the Shure, or can I go direct from the line out and still use the amp as a monitor?
Nu=new
I have the 50W version of this, basically the same exact thing, only louder….one thing NUH-buyers(lol) should be looking out for are broken pots, or knobs that tunr all the way around without a stop, or possible pull up and down, they're starting to show age now, so be careful what you buy 🙂 ………….also that's NOT what the pedal is for, it's programmable form the 1, 2, and WRITE button on top of the amp, you can put any 2 sounds there to switch betweenthem
"Nuh'metal" haha, bro…it's "New-Metal", or "Noo-Metal", if you want…wtf made you thin NUH metal? lol
Auto wah gives you that Jim I Hendrix guitar sound
Best tutorial for this amp
I have a couple of fenders and Marshall. I go past a house selling furniture and goods from the house as the occupants are moving. So I came across this amp, take it home, plug in my guitar and since then I haven’t used my other amps. I love this amp and it’s so loud even at 3 or 4
I just purchased one of these amplifiers used on Reverb for 105 shipping and all. I hope it will work good.
I have a vox vt30, but now there is a problem. if I play for 30 minutes, the sound suddenly decreases and hoarse. what's the problem?? Please help me. Thank you
it's a good little amp, once you learn to use it. The basic set & forget presets are useless on their own. Set it to manual, then turn the preset nob to obtain the amp voicings. Add a pedal for more clarity. Also sounds great when you mic it up

Witam wolę po polsku
I have it since 2004 and I like it.
Awesome!
How can you get a distortion like the beginning of REVOLUTION by John Lennon with his Epiphone Casino with this amp?
Pretty nice effects…lol. cool demo.
Excellent review! I've had this same amp for many years, but I honestly had no idea it has half of these features – let alone how to use them. I'm gonna dig mine outa the closet right now.
Fantastic amp still stands up in 2021
Mine was a freebie. Got a place that gives me all the electronics they get in. I need to learn how to play with all the amps and stuff I get in. I'm in to the 70s rock …. Heard a few tunes in the video I remember. Actually most of them.
Floo poďpluc
I own this amp and like it,however the problem is it doesn't have a send and return loop so if I want to add any pedals I have to place them pre-amp which is not ideal(especially for delay and echo effects). Can somebody please advise me:I am thinking of adding an external speaker so that I can use my pedals in between the two, assuming this is viable, what is the best speaker to use with it? Thanks in advance for any help.
helo what made this amp?? many made in china…
Pronounced new metal idiot
Good review but I was hoping you demonstrated how to assign foot switch tasks
I love my Vox AD30VT. I had several amps over the years. A Fender, a Marshall, a Crate, Vox, and Vox battery models. I love the Vox sound being a Beatle fan since the late 60's. I have two amps left and one of them is the the Vox AD30VT and the other is the Boss Katana Mini. Its a good amplifier.
''Oh daddy will you buy me a Mercedes Mesa''
Needs a gibson…..
If you wanna play under the bridge by red hot Chile pepper then you have to use compressor with reverb and overdrive
Great Video Jeremy!! Thank you for the info
It's actually Numb Metal, the guy's a genius and you're all idiots.
very clear
Liked the Cream rotary Badge riff ????
“Very worth it”
I had one of these but got rid of it 6 months later. The 50 watt version is fantastic!
can you explain briefly what the tap edit button does?
I got this amp for my birthday and I love it
Great video. A girl is giving me this amp with a fender strat today. I'm pretty excited…..I've got q mesa dual rectifier and 4×12 box cab back home. Never see it again…..too much to ship across the whole daggum country.
I have one in every city!! I was looking for a small amp at a flea market. I saw this and it blew my mind! I paid 100$ each amp, used. it's similar to the Roland jazz 120 I had in the good ole days.
