The Valve Reactor circuit adds real tube tone and the revolutionary chassis design to maximise projection and a hybrid digital/analogue power amp that offers even further control over every aspect of the sound.
All the clever bells and whistles in the world don’t count for much if you can’t get control, thankfully the new VTX amps aren’t short on front panel controls, while the Tone Reactor software lets you delve right in and tweak every single parameter, using either a mobile device like the iPad or a computer via USB. I have one of these but it buzzes like hell when using the distortion special effect. The buzzing goes away when I touch the strings or the bridge of the guitar. Anyone else have this problem ?

EVERYTHING WORKS, BUT THERE ARE TWO PROBLEMS WHICH I CAN'T SOLVE I CAN NOT ON THE COMPUTER TO SAVE THE CREATED CREATIONS, THEY WILL BE SAVED, BUT OPEN THEM IS NOT RECEIVED. AND ANOTHER PROBLEM. I CAN'T CONNECT VOX VT40X R TO THE COCOS REAPER SOFTWARE AND AT ALL IS IT POSSIBLE OR TO WRITE THROUGH A MICROPHONE AND FOCUSRITE
I wonder what else this perv is into licking. Crazy limey. He is good, I must give him credit. If I buy one of these, I would want it to be able to work with a smartphone app. The modeling amps that interface with an Ipod get some great settings and change real fast. I have seen some great demos.
heads up on noise gate… may affect attack etc… Marshall Code amps used it in presets which needed to be adjusted or offed. and any idea if the Racing Green is a rare color ? just scooped one for $150 Cdn

Finally answered my question I’ve had since starting my amp shopping, this can metal fairly well. I like the British tones and all of that. But I was concerned as Vox has never been known for metal if it would be good for black sabbath, Metallica, and some heavier stuff like alter bridge and rammstein etc. I don’t play extreme metal. Also would a pedal help the distortion get pushed more to metal also.
