Useful review,thanks.
Kinda bummed out you said it's a lot darker than the pictures make it look. Thinking of getting this and on the Guitar Center/Reverb images it looks bright orange which looks really nice. Was hoping that's what it would look like instead of a much darker brown. But it stills looks nice regardless.
I just got home from Guitar Center and I fell in love with this guitar. Being a 58 yr old woman, my current guitars make my shoulder scream from having to lift my arm up higher. The Washburn fit me like a glove. I'm just not sure that I like the sound because I like a deeper tone. What kind of strings are you using on yours? Thank you for the info filled video.
I have one that was made in 2019 . Think mine got the ice tea burst finish much lighter. Yours is beautiful ! Enjoy, thanks for review.
Chinese guitars are POS…Indonesia, Korea are much better quality!
Thanks Joe. It's on sale again; was researching and was glad to find your review. Saw your review on MF that discussed online photo being inaccurate. Love a koa top but would prefer the finish in the photo. Anyway, thx4 reviewing!
Wow – What a beautiful guitar! That thing is gorgeous. It sounds cheap & thin to me – but it's real hard to tell over a YouTube vid that isn't professionally produced. Just hard to say. Also – I guess that is a smaller body "Jumbo." It's a nice size, but those often do sound thin. Anyway – I might have to take a look at these. That thing is just gorgeous, & I dig Washburn Instruments, generally.
