  • I know this video came out a while ago, but if by chance you see this comment, would you say that the sonic blue version of this guitar looks the same in real life as it does in this video? I'm torn between United Blue and this one.

  • On paper, these have great spec, similar to more expensive Stratocasters.

Yamaha's quality is exceptional. I have a 112V, they should sound better. The wiring could be revised, the pull/push coil split could be on the volume, the tone could be no load, the single coils could have resistors added so they see a 250K volume pot and a partial coil tap using a resistor added to the coil split. Oh, and Tusk nut and a bigger tremolo block. All these areas are stifling these well made guitars.

  • I am a hardcore Ibanez RG addict. Been playing for 35 years and have my preferences.Well a lot of guitars that I love have had serious quality control issues over the past fer years. Spending over a grand on a guitar only to have uneven frets and paint4ed on bindings is just not cool. So I am ordering one of these. Yamaha is one of the few companies that have stayed consistent. Amazing quality for a reasonable price that no ther company can compare to.
