  • I auditioned so many strats to find one that was perfect for me (every Strat that came through the shop for a handful of years). I was able to find ‘the one’ but there is just so much variability, too many that have intonation issues or that don’t resonate well, or that are close but are a weird color. I have a great one so I’m good to go, but it would have been great to pull a Suhr off the wall and skip the process. I’ve played a number of them and they are all pretty much spot on with the only ones I wasn’t fond of probably just because the neck wasn’t the same size as my Strat. I think well worth the price of admission.

  • Suhr guitars are the cure for G.A.S.

I haven't so much as considered buying another guitar since getting my Classic S.

  • I’ve posted this comment of so many Suhr videos.. I owe them a huge apology! I used to bash their guitars for being over priced fenders … until I played one and forever became an ambassador for their brand. I now own 7 Suhr guitars and will NEVER buy another brand… they are THAT GOOD.

  • I used to build guitars, and I will build again when I retire. In the meantime, I’m so happy to support this company. John gives information so freely. The necks, fretwork, & pickups are insanely incredible. my studio has become mostly suhr since I caught the bug

  • Tested Suhr guitars in a shop in Ottawa. Absolutely amazing guitars! My favorite is the Alt T, the others are excellent too. I just wished the Alt T had "better colors". On my list for sure !

  • I’ve met multiple touring musicians and asked them about their Suhr guitars. They all said the same thing. “It’s the best guitar I’ve ever owned”

  • After 27 years of guitar playing, primarily using Jackson, Ibanez, and Fender guitars, I discovered Suhr guitars by coming across Mateus Asato clips on Instagram during the pandemic. There were not any dealers near me that even had a Suhr guitar in stock, and I ended up taking what I thought was a huge gamble by purchasing a Standard Legacy after never even seen or touched one of these instruments in person. This guitar was unlike anything I had ever touched or played. Everything about it was perfect. It's been said that some instruments seem like they already have music in them, and that was the case for this Suhr — it was like it could play itself. It was worth every single penny I paid for it. The worst thing, however, about a Suhr is not the price in my opinion… It's that it raises your expectations so high that you are no longer satisfied with anything less.
