What’s your favourite voice on the strat?
My favourite voice on my strat is positions 4 and 5, i.e.,the neck pickup and the neck and the middle pickup using a warm setting on your amp at a slight edge of break up with a mild amp reverb is pure strat heaven for me.

I just realized I didn't comment on your question of position on a Strat. So the closest I have to a Strat is my Ibenez and its know where near that tone.
Still learning the basics.
Whatever your doing in this video is just beautiful. Now I have to go buy a Strat.

I watched a john robson video and he said that basically he doesn't like most of the tonal variations on a strat. I kinda get where he's coming from. The only positions I use mostly are the neck pickup and the neck and middle combined. I never use the bridge and can't seem to get on with the middle pickup.
But the sounds settings I choose I absolutely love and it's only a strat that can do it ????
neck and middle positions are the two I use…once in a while I'll use the 2 position for the quack but rarely…once I mod the bridge pickup to the tone control I might start using it. I think the neck pickup on a strat is one of the best soiunds out there.
Lemi you should cut an album cuz, real talk. Anyway, I love all five pickup positions on my Strat. I can use each one depending on the sound I need.
