  • Thanks for supporting the channel everyone! I hope you enjoy this walkthrough of Found Sound here in Melbourne, Australia. You might remember some of this from my "new amp day" video from about 6 months ago, but I also shot this full episode. Have a great rest of 2024!

  • Glad that it looks like no one got hurt, usually folks get hurt at discount stores with falling prices.

  • I have played a Classic 50 2×12 for over 20 years and am on my third one. They are affordable with high-priced sound and are built like tanks. I had one fall out of a moving car to a gig, and it still played flawlessly.

  • Awesome video!
I laughed at the Fender M80.
I have the black version. I bought it new in 1994. Mine is the M80 chorus. Great amp for pedals, and the best clean I have ever used.
If you ever come to the USA and get to Chicago you need to go to The Chicago Music Exchange. You will love it.
Thanks for the great content, I've been a subscriber for at least 5 years.

  • I hope you brought your credit card Shane ????. I seen that guitar with all the controls as well at a whopping $6000. I popped in there quite a few months back when I was flying down to Melbourne every fortnight for work. The place is pretty big and a great place to look for used and not commonly found gear. Although Sky Music was almost my weakness LOL.

I also popped into the Maton Factory which was right across from the Box Hill Bunnings. Although they weren't currently doing factory tours back in September, they still had a small showroom of their past guitars and amps which was interesting to look at. I believe the tours are back on again though

  • Any guitar store that has more than just Squier and Epiphone Lefties is alright in my book. Nice get, Shane!

  • There are nowhere near enough Music Stores in QLD. Being a NSWelshman I had grown accustomed to being spoilt rotten for choice as Music Stores were legion. QLD has some great stores but few & far between.
Shout out to Mooloolaba Music tho, they're the biggest Music Store in QLD & Ross their guitar tech is a wizard. Ok sure they're dealing with a captive clientele and geographically it's a mission to drive to Brisvegas or Bundy.
P.S. Been searchin scouring jonesing to find a Sunshine Coast QLD luthier and my solitary singular clue is his surname, Morrison.
Morrison appears engraved on the brass trussrod covers this genius of a builder crafts. My #1 guitar is built by Morrison, Sunshine Coast QLD… I'm bereft bamboozled stumped despite my substantial efforts to locate this mysterious magic luthier if only to congratulate thank profusely and give homage to the cat.
Morrison builds Strats Teles and I have an f-holed (I'm a dead set f-hole myself my bandmates are reminding me regularly).. a white Gibson scale semi hollow singlecut with brass bridge saddle nut jumbo s/s frets rosewood on tiger maple neck Seymour JB's vintage & black reverse zebra buckers 3way switch Gotohs the tone sustain playability is simply disgusting.. I adore it (PK30246) Mr. Morrison odds on it's a bloke but I never can relax knowing 2/5ths of nothing whatsoever else about this guitar building god..?
Help a cat out?, anyone at all Suncoast Qld or anywhere I've been obsessed with finding this fellow to let him know he rocks buy him beer & beg him build me just one more guitar and a short scale bass. Morrison? Morrison? where for art thou, Morrison?
Great ???? Channel Shayno keep up the outstanding work you & Leon Todd are both household names to continental Australian guitarcheologists guitarchangels and guitarded freaks like myself from Gerringong to Geraldton. Thanks for all your unsung unselfish hard work educating advising & making us crack up laughing too on occasions. Shane Dr.Ric n' Co. We Salute You.????⚡????

  • been curious bout the Prosonic. Does it do a convincing Dumble-esque thing? Seems like that was the inspiration behind it, even with the green LED and chicken knobs. Can you let us know if u think its the poor mans ODS next time ur there? Thanks! Great content as always.

  • I have the same Barclay hollow body shown. Basically, a Harmony Rocket with 6 in line tuners. It’s very rare in the US. Is Barclay more common in Australia?
